U.S. House of Representatives Transportation and Infrastructure Chairman Sam Graves is not only a champion for aviation and the FAA, but a pilot who understands firsthand the aviation industry perhaps better than any other Member of Congress. The FAA Authorization Bill passed by the U.S. House earlier this year is an excellent piece of legislation that combines the immediate safety needs of the FAA with sections on innovation, to ensure America continues to lead in the advancement of the next generation of aviation technologies. Thank you to #ECAC's President Alessio Quaranta for leading this session, bringing together DGCA's Directors General and representatives from several key #aviation partners, such as #EASA, #ICAO, and #EU. In my speech, I highlighted once again the importance of working in partnership, within and beyond European boundaries, to tackle the major aviation challenges of today, be it #sustainability, #capacity, #weather disruptions, or #traffic growth in our already limited airspace. Today's society is demanding a lot from us, but I am deeply convinced the aviation world can deliver #together.
