It’s an exciting time at Risant Health. On the heels of Geisinger becoming our inaugural organization, another leading, community-oriented health system is poised to become part of Risant, pending regulatory approval. Cone Health has so much in common with what Risant Health aims to do. First and foremost, Cone Health is a community-oriented and mission-aligned health system. It has also been laser-focused on transforming care to be defined by core tenets such as quality outcomes, prevention, equity, and affordability. Cone Health’s proven track record of advancing the health of populations, and doing so in a vibrant community, will move Risant Health another step closer to fulfilling its vision of improving health care for millions of people. We know there are more steps to go until finalized, but we are thrilled to be celebrating this milestone!
We're pleased to share that we've signed a definitive agreement with North Carolina-based Cone Health to become part of Risant Health. Pending regulatory review, Cone Health will be the second health system, after Geisinger, to become part of our work bringing #ValueBasedCare to more people in communities across the country. Currently serving half a million people in North Carolina, Cone Health has done impressive work in moving health-focused care forward to help people live healthier lives. https://k-p.li/45CcVyp
Agree, Population health has been critical to our communities and primary leading this is so important while collaborating with the service lines.
We are so proud to be part of Risant Health, what it will mean for those we serve today, and what it will mean for those we will serve tomorrow. This signifies a future that fulfills what healthcare can and should be, where no one is left behind and all lives matter!!
From a former Kaiser exec, the expansion east is good news.
Congratulations! I’m looking forward to watching you improve healthcare in North Carolina!
Great to see Risant Health continuing to grow while staying laser focused on community-oriented (which I also interpret as whole-person) health! This is the way of the future for patients and providers.
Integration and prior contractual policies will be the problem. This was how Medpartner went bankrupt. Unless you buy the group and sever all old contracts you will never be profitable
Looking forward to what you’ll all do together!
Congratulations on this incredible milestone, Jaewon Ryu! It's inspiring to see how Risant Health is making such impactful strides in the healthcare community. Your vision and dedication are truly commendable.
Congratulations! I love seeing your success Jaewon

1moI'm intrigued by the possibilities. Value based care is more conducive to aligning a 'win' for everybody. I'm particularly optimistic that value based care will help unleash the power of #lifestylemedicine and prompt employers to play a more vigorous role in the health and well-being of their workforce. Particularly, employers need to be actively engaged in creating a well-being culture within their organization in order to optimize the opportunities the clinicians are providing their patients (the employer's employees - if you're following me). Thanks for the good news Jaewon Ryu.
