It reminds me of the the towns spread along the railroads in the U.S. in the 19th century, where the railroad companies were constructing the railroads, building towns for the employees working on the railroads, and charging them rent in addition to owning all the general stores.

Hmmm, it is odd for a company that wants to be the cloud security platform for everyone is going to be acquired by a single cloud provider. How do you think this will impact customers whose cloud estate is primarily in AWS or Azure?

For any folks with basic tactical visionay skills, this presents a unique opportunity. It would have been far more challenging if AWS or Azure had shown interest in acquiring them.

This is such a bizarre move! My only guess is that Google is fairly good at code security so they need the CNAPP play but I can’t see AWS following this path, maybe Microsoft.
