Pan Zhanle's interview before he left for Paris is finally being broadcasted. He requested for it not to be released during the interview. He had his reason. But since he has won, there is no reason for it not to be broadcasted anymore. Good tactic! He broke 46 seconds by swimming 45.92 seconds in the 4x100m relay! It's almost impossible for anyone to break 45 seconds in the next few decades anymore. That would be really "not humanly possible" unless of course, you are Pan Zhanle! Now if you want to look as athletic as Pan Zhanle or King Arthur, you need to swim like Pan Zhanle or King Arthur. It is humanly possible to do it. The question is whether it is also humanely possible? If you think that it is neither humanly possible nor humanely possible to swim like Pan Zhanle or King Arthur, then the second-best option is to get liposuction done by King Arthur! Get your liposuction done at special "Not humanly possible?" price! Offer only valid till the closing ceremony of Paris Summer Olympics. For more information, Google: "King Arthur not humanly possible campaign". Or click here: https://lnkd.in/gAU2mb9Z https://lnkd.in/g7rDH6Gx

Great message about performance in the share below. There is a difference between wanting something and needing it. There are helathy and unhealthy elements to needing something. It is great to set out sights on goals and to want to achieve them. But it is not great if we absolutey need to achieve that thing weset our sights on, and for our own mental health to be dependant on it. Unhealthy needs are those that place uncessary pressure on achieving a goal, when if you fail, the consequences to your attitide when assessing your performance become unbearable. Rather drive yourself to reach for the stars, but enjoy the execution, and don't want it so much that you no longer can act effectively in the face of the pressure. High performers are able to step up a gear when the pressure is on, by navigating those pressure situations more effectively. It can be improved with practice, but most importantly, that happens when the enjoyment outweighs the pressure. Let there be self-love, self appreciation no matter the result And failure is not failure, it is an opportunity to reflect on what could be done differently next time. That for me is the definition of resilience... Thanks for sharing Gregory Bayne #resilience #grit #success #mentalhealth #selflove #learnfromfailure #embrace success #highperformance #

This is what a true partnership looks like: 🥇🤝🥈🥉 Inspired by a beautiful moment at the Olympics yesterday between Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Rebeca Andrade. When Andrade won gold, Biles and Chiles didn't just congratulate her - they celebrated her victory by bowing. "Should we bow to her?" Chiles asked Biles. "Absolutely," Biles answered. And they did, showing incredible sportsmanship and respect. Biles later said, "Rebeca is so amazing. She's queen. ... It was just the right thing to do." This is the essence of a true partnership - celebrating each other's wins, supporting through losses, and always lifting each other up. Whether you're on top or cheering from the side, real teammates (and partners) stand tall together. Who are your partners standing on the side when you win? Are you cheering your partners on when they win? Food for thought! #partnership #parisolympics #partnershipgoals #wintogether #olympics2024 #olympics #parisolympics2024

"Olympian Ben Hunt-Davis suggests that once we come up with our chief goal we need to ensure our actions move us towards that goal. Ben Hunt-Davis was a British rower and every time his crew were planning on doing something they always had to ask themselves: by taking this action 'will it make the boat go faster' i.e. will it help us win gold at the Olympics?" Resharing this great post. Thank you David Cross for being a strong ally voice to so many of us in the antitrust and legal worlds. It is so painful for me, and I am sure very many others, every time I hear or see incessant and unnecessary hair comments. Instead of focusing on what women say, do, or accomplish, people are weirdly obsessed with commenting on women's hair. ALL THE TIME. Simple compliments like your "hair looks nice today" are one thing but, in my experience, mentions of hair beyond that are typically unnecessary, often loaded, distracting, and frequently stress-inducing to the hair bearer for many reasons others may not know or understand. For me it was the constant hair talk by those (even well-meaning or unknowing) who just had to comment on my hair as I worked through chemo, donning a wig, losing ALL of my hair down to the last painful eyelash, or not feeling like my true myself for 3 years while it grew back. While I was so fortunate to not ever be "sick" from actual cancer, and had no evidence of disease even when I lost my hair to preventative (adjuvant) chemo, the hair loss and regrowth was probably the most emotionally painful part of my cancer battle. For other people there are so many other painful experiences hair comments trigger. I can't speak for them, but I feel for them. I feel for Simone and Princess Catherine and every other person who had to keep performing, smiling, or faked a thank you when the hair dig or "compliment" punched them in the gut. Just because we are strong women, doesn't mean it is easy. All this goes double for talking about hair in the workplace...JUST DON'T...even if you think it's a compliment, it probably isn't. Find something else to talk about to connect with others. Ideas = all the non-hair ways that person is awesome, sports, kids, pets, weather, office tech problems (PSA - suggest never asking anyone when the baby is due either!). Can we just have NO MO' HAIR TALK? This is my hope. Weekend rant over...back to watching the Olympics while not thinking about anyone's hair.
Simone Biles, now the winningest American Olympic gymnast of all time, had a message for people commenting about her hair. See more from the Olympic Games in Paris: https://cnn.it/3Wzfg9A

Over Celebrating Bronze Medals: A Sign of Weak Mindset I'm pleased to see the overwhelming celebration of Manu Bhaker's bronze medal. However, this highlights a concerning mental weakness in our nation. Consider this: Countries poorer than India (Fiji, Moldova, Tunisia, Mongolia) are excelling in the Olympics We're not addressing reasons for our consistent underperformance These countries achieve greatness despite smaller populations As the movie "Rush" states: "If you were second, you were first in the list of losers." Yet we celebrate third place as if we've won the world. This behavior echoes what our freedom fighters and great saints warned: we remain enslaved by our mindset. Is it time we raised our standards and expectations in sports? #MindsetMatters #IndianSports #OlympicAmbition

This is simple marketing using incentives. Countries incentivize athletes to perform well and win medals while competing at the Olympics. In exchange, assuming an athlete medals, they’ll be rewarded. Rewards are different depending on the country. Yes, some rewards seem funny. But people in other countries are in need of different things. #Olympics #Competition #Risk #Reward
Olympic athletes aren't just walking away with gold medals! Some winners are coming home to huge cash prizes, luxury apartments, and even free life-time tickets for public transportation. Read more about the expensive—and unusual—prizes some athletes come home to on Fortune.
