But that’s not all—there are a couple more January deadlines: ✅ W2 Reporting: By the end of Jan—typically handled by your payroll company, but don't forget any additional benefits you may need to report. ✅ 1099 Reporting: Also due by the end of Jan. Firstly, focus on improving your offer. Offering higher salaries, flexible working hours, and more holidays are just some of the ways you can make your job offer more appealing. Additionally, consider tailoring the position to the individual who is joining by finding out their professional and personal interests. Next, make your interview process unique. Stand out from other firms by offering something that others can't. For example, if you're a small firm, offer more client contact from an early stage. If you're a large firm, offer rotation between tax teams. To attract a wider pool of potential employees, increase the flexibility of working hours and location.
