Driving PV growth with market and product expertise, and strategic execution – Senior Policy Advisor, SolarPower Europe

In South Australia, rooftop PV will make baseload electricity unnecessary. Rooftop PV covers citizens' daytime electricity demand, in summer and winter. Nuclear, which cannot be controlled flexibly, further loses the business case. 1/3 of buildings there have PV and the sun is as strong as in Spain. These buildings generate not only for themselves, but also for the surrounding areas. The remaining electricity demand must be met with flexible electricity sources like PV and wind + BESS, and gas. This will come in Europe, too. In NL, already 1/4 of buildings have PV. Germany, Belgium, and Austria are picking up quickly. And they won't stop at 1/3 of buildings. 🚀🏘️ Great article in PV Mag: https://lnkd.in/es654YaM
