Have you experienced burnout? I have. It’s really tough, those panic attacks, those sleepless nights, that general exhaustion - I’ve seen it all. And I have a few lessons I’ve learnt along the way that I’d love to share with you. 1. Give it time - you won’t heal straight away, sometimes it can take years. Have patience with yourself and don’t try to rush the process 2. Routines are everything - start with the basics and build on them bit by bit. Keeping to a routine helps you get back on your feet 3. Get support - SO important! Family, friends, communities, coaches and counsellors - whoever it is for you, make sure there is someone you can share the ups and downs with 4. Know your triggers - also very important! Knowing warning signs and things that are likely to trigger burnout for you are helpful for minimising the chance of it happening again I hope this was helpful and feel free to share your own tips below. #burnout #papillonperth

Learning from my clients The top 3 things I have learned 1. Don't do it all on your own. It is so important to have people in your corner that you can delegate things to or even just talk things through with. My clients were strong enough to reach out for help and for that I am so grateful! 2. Becoming a mother changes things. I am not a mother myself so admittedly at times, I have questioned how I could help them. However I realise I am learning a lot from them and most importantly how much their life changes after becoming a mother. I can then apply this to help other mums. 3. Take time for yourself. Mums don't do this enough so it is no wonder they get overwhelmed. It is essential to take time to connect with yourself and put your own oxygen mask first. And the winner is... Paper planners! Yes the majority of you who participated in this poll use these rather than digital. Now I use both, I still have my old paper planners but have also started using Notion and look to use this as my main source in the future. But no matter what we use, here are some tips that I use for perfect planning! 1. Write it out the night before 2. Have a list of your top 3 priorities 3. Have a list of each hour and write what you are going do against it 4. Tick things off as you go to get a sense of accomplishment 5. Reward yourself for a job well done!
