Enlightening keynote Amir Dan Rubin and great panel discussions! Huge thanks to Amy Hung and all the incredible panelists. Some invaluable insights shared and inspiring takeaways that have truly resonated with me:
• Technology has often lagged behind in healthcare, but with the immense potential of AI, its versatility across all healthcare segments, and the rapid pace of development, it could very well emerge as the game-changer and give healthcare a significant edge.
• Prioritizing stakeholder interests and end users in your product is key. Avoiding conflicts and building positive relationships is crucial for success. For example, how not to "make enemies".
• In healthcare AI, Operation efficiency and administrative workflow automation have been the recent focus. However, as we look ahead to the next 3-5 years, Clinical AI in Provider setting, and point-of-care or telehealth applications will be the new frontier to empower healthcare professionals in exciting new ways compared to traditional rule-based decision support systems. Data governance, building trusts and mitigation of risks will be key.
