Dear friends, I'm thrilled to share that Meta has open-sourced Ocean, a Mixed Reality and Computer Vision framework. After over a decade of development, we're excited to finally share it with the world. Ocean is perfect for anyone working in Computer Vision or Mixed Reality. It comes with many native demo apps for Meta's headsets, so you can even attach a webcam to a Quest and develop your own algorithms. And if you prefer AR/VR, there are plenty of demos for phones and desktops too. We've published the code under the MIT license. We can't wait to see what amazing things people will create using Ocean! Announcement on Threads: https://lnkd.in/g8QVrcpx

Jan Herling can we access Quest 3 built in cameras to run computer vision with these functions or only with externally attached cameras?

Jan, I read through the source yesterday. I’m impressed by the quality and efficiency. This does not seem like “research” code. What is the roadmap?
