Severely elevated RVSP: right ventricular systolic pressure ( TR pressure gradient + Right atrial pressure of > 60 mmHg) could be strongly indicative of severe Pulmonary hypertension. Other features including classical D-shaped ventricle with systolic collapse of the septum into the LV due to increased systolic pressure in the RV. Elevated RVSP is mostly caused by elevated pressures in the pulmonary arteries 👍 features of Cor pulmonae (Markedly Dilated right ventricle and atrium). The systolic function of the right ventricle is reduced. Flattened inventricular septum mostly due to the pressure overload. Thickened LV cardiac walls, small LV cavity size, left ventricular concentric remodeling. Dilated and non-collapsible IVC. Severe TR functional due to dilated Tricuspid annulus. Dilated coronary sinus possibly due to the severe TR.
