Corporate Vice President, AI at Work @ Microsoft | Predicting, shaping and innovating for the future of work | Tech optimist

Individuals are increasingly turning to #AI in both their personal and professional lives, yet many businesses struggle to fully harness its potential. My colleague, Colette Stallbaumer, spoke with TechRadar about the need for companies to develop a business strategy for AI, not just an AI strategy. By integrating AI into business strategies, organizations are going to begin seeing tangible, bottom-line results and cost savings. Colette offers some valuable tips to help individuals and organizations alike find value in AI solutions like Microsoft #Copilot, enabling them to tap into time and productivity gains and boost creativity. Thank you for sharing an insightful interview! Microsoft's perspective on integrating AI into our business strategies highlights a crucial point: AI should serve as a tool to enhance our existing goals, not as an end in itself. Utilizing AI effectively can indeed boost productivity and contribute to overall happiness at work by automating routine tasks and freeing up time for more creative and strategic endeavors. Embracing AI with a clear business strategy will pave the way for more meaningful and impactful innovation. #AI #BusinessStrategy #Productivity"

Thanks for sharing Jared. Interesting (but not surprising) that the quickest wins / lowest hanging fruit in terms of value with Gen AI / Copilot are the individual productivity and creativity-enhancing benefits. For businesses, I think value is derived partly from an aggregation / accumulation of the individual value from it's employees, but will increasingly come from integration with business strategies and processes as you say (not to mention the huge value of tools such as Copilot as a simple first step for businesses on their AI journey).

Greetings & thanks for sharing. The greatest opportunity is for folks over 40 (most in corp. world) to "grow metabolically younger" using AI (I bleed MS & so, MS AI). Here's a quick example - https://tinyurl.com/5n6cetzb Deeply thankful to MS for helping me "grow younger"! Kind regards.
