‘WAITING’ At some point in our life, all of us have to wait. Be it for results, for a better college, for cracking a competition exam, for a job, or anything you can add to the list. This waiting phase is uncertain. I mean it can be short like for a few months or it can be long like years. Sometimes it brings joy and sometimes sorrow. But this phase always makes us a better person for those who want to be one. I’ll write down some lessons I’ve learned throughout my phase: 1. It revealed the REAL ME. The frustration, the anger, the anxiety of the future, and everything that happened during the phase helped me to understand myself better. Who I am, how I deal with different emotions, my reactions, and everything more or less. 2.I slowly started getting rid of the ‘self-sufficient’ me. I realized and with time I allowed myself to accept that I’m not perfect. I lack in many areas. I can ask for help. Sometimes I can depend. I don’t have to be that ‘do-it-all’ woman. It’s okay, right? 3.Waiting grows the BEST ME. It brings out the BEST version of me. Now, there are four heart conditions that stand against our peace and joy in the waiting; 1.Unrealistic expectations. Whether it’s from people or you. Let Go and Let God. 2.Unnoticed blessings; “Gratitude is the attitude that makes life worth living” 3.Unfair comparisons; “Comparison is the thief of joy” 4.Uncontrolled desires So, you can do these 3 things while waiting: 1.Surround yourself with balcony people. These are the people who have an uplifting presence in others' lives. They honor, affirm, and appreciate others. Please stay away from basement people cause they will find fault in whatever you do and they judge, criticize, or manipulate others. 2.Saturate your soul. Read. Meditate. Pray and do whatever you can for your soul, cause soul is the core. 3.Surrender your heart completely to the upper power. Let go of all that’s holding you back from true joy. Lastly, I stand on and will always stand on; 1.No amount of talking to people will replace what talking to GOD will do. 2.No amount of activity will replace what sitting still before God will do. 3.No amount of talking to GOD about the problem will replace trusting God with the problem. "Gratitude is the mother of all virtue!" Yes, it indeed is true. Society, cultures, advertisement and family conditioning as a whole has subliminally programmed us to believe that we must be always "thirsty for more and more", which has eventually compelled us to live our life with "scarcity syndrome". If we have a branded car, 🚗 we need that particular car to be recognized as "lavish"; we need to live in penthouse to be considered as cool; boys need to be in a certain moneymaking position to attract a girl; girls need to be sizzling to attract an eligible guy and so forth. As a consequence of this scarcity syndrome, we are not ever enough. Here is the thing, when we are more grateful for what we have rather than what we don't have, we end up getting more and more. Thanks to the reticular activating system in the brain, what we "consistently focus on", we bring it about in our life, and hence we get more of that experience. If we are simply grateful for who we are and what we have, we end up becoming more than who we are today and getting more than what we have right now. Life has a strange way of making us having in "abundance" when we are simply grateful, and the truth is that we already are enough and have enough in our life. It is not a philosophy of not trying to be "excellent" or experiencing "excellence" in life but a simple "ancient practice" of becoming "a magnet for attracting the most desirable outcome". I know that it might sound naive but the beauty about life lies in simplicity. Being truly grateful is a simple formula of receiving more. Personally I am always grateful, not because my life is "perfect" but I love to see "perfection" in my life everyday so that I get the outcome I desire to get. One of the easiest ways to having more is to practicing gratitude by writing "a gratitude journal" every single day, not on our phone but writing on a journal with our fingertips because fingertips have memory, which tricks our brain to focus on what we have rather than what we don't have. I of course do write a gratitude journal everyday. I am grateful for my life, the whole Universe, the Heaven, the Cosmos, the Mother Earth, the entire planet and last but not the least, my GURU, who inspires me to be a good human being, all the time. But in our modern landscape of abundance, where the pursuit of "more" has become an endless chase after fleeting pleasures, this innate desire can morph into a source of perpetual dissatisfaction. Our brains dance with the chemical fireworks of dopamine and serotonin, urging us to chase the next thrill, the next hit of temporary joy. This insatiable hunger for "more" can lead us down treacherous paths, becoming slaves to fleeting trends, addicted to the dopamine rush of social media validation, or trapped in a cycle of endless acquisition. True fulfillment, however, lies not in chasing shadows, but in embracing the sunlight of gratitude and meaning. Gratitude, the simple act of appreciating what we already have, shifts our focus from the void of "more" to the abundance of "enough." It's savoring the warmth of a cup of tea, the laughter of loved ones, the quiet beauty of a sunrise. By cultivating gratitude, we cultivate contentment, a state of peace that transcends the fleeting highs of pleasure. Meaning, on the other hand, transcends the individual. It's finding purpose in something larger than ourselves, whether it's nurturing relationships, contributing to a cause, or expressing ourselves through creative pursuits. When we connect with something bigger than our own desires, we tap into a wellspring of fulfillment that no fleeting pleasure can match. This is what truly distinguishes us from the animal kingdom – not just our desires, but our capacity for gratitude and meaning-seeking. Living a life of fulfillment isn't about denying ourselves pleasure, but about finding a balanced symphony. It's about savoring the present, appreciating what we have, and pursuing goals that give our lives meaning. The Art of Letting Go We all hold onto things. Material possessions, grudges, past hurts, and even dreams that no longer serve us. These attachments, like anchors, keep us tethered to the past, preventing us from sailing toward a brighter future. Letting go is not about forgetting or ignoring but embracing a new perspective, one where we choose to release the weight of the past and step into the freedom of the present. The first step is awareness. What are we holding onto? Is it anger towards a loved one, a past mistake, or the fear of the unknown? Identifying the source of our attachment is crucial. Once we acknowledge what is weighing us down, we can then finds ways to come out of it. Everything in life is transient. The things we cherish, the moments we hold dear, will eventually fade. This realization can be liberating. It allows us to accept change and to understand that holding onto the past only inhibits our ability to embrace the present. Forgiveness is not about excusing actions but removing the anger and bitterness that keep us chained to the past. It is about choosing to move forward, to free ourselves from resentment. Sometimes, we cling to dreams that no longer resonate with who we are. Holding on to those dreams only creates frustration and disappointment. Letting go allows space for new possibilities and new dreams to emerge.  Gratitude is a powerful antidote to the grip of attachment. When we focus on the blessings in our lives, we naturally let go of the things that weigh us down. Practicing gratitude can involve keeping a daily journal where we note things we are thankful for, helping shift our perspective toward positivity. Letting go is a skill, one that takes time and practice. It is about making conscious choices to release the things that no longer serve us. Start small with a negative thought, a fleeting worry. Each small act of letting go strengthens our ability to navigate life with more freedom and joy. Letting go is not about weakness. But about strength and the courage to release the past and embrace the present. It is about choosing to live full of hope and possibility. I was never an expressive kid. Growing up, I struggled a lot with expressing what I felt. I mean I always wanted to but couldn’t. Initially, it was something I couldn't do and then it became something I didn't want to do. I became a climber who needed support to grow. I found it very tough to interact with an outsider. Opening up to anyone became nearly impossible. One day, I started penning it down in a diary. That was the day 'writing' became my expression, my voice, my emotions, and the security I needed at that time. I started writing daily, nothing motivational or anything and I noticed my writing never included what I ate, what I wore, or where I went. It always included the feelings, what I felt when I did that or when someone approached me, or what I wanted to say when that teacher humiliated me in front of the class. It included if I helped someone if I listened to someone’s story, or something like a sunrise that fascinated me. Have you ever got a compliment for the way you laugh or for your intellect or just for what you’re as a real and raw person? The day, when you are a total mess, in your looks, your mind, or your health, and somebody casually says, ‘’Hey I love the way you think” and the next moment you are brimming with joy and you will have a little better day now despite the mess you are in. I didn’t realize since when I started covering my face while laughing. Maybe I lost confidence or maybe everything changes with time and nothing lasts forever. Something I learned during my healing journey is that the more confident you are, the quieter you become. Confidence whispers, and insecurity roars. Confidence knows itself the best and its mere presence in a room is loud enough for the world to see. You don’t have to shout. It’s there. It’s there in your presence, in your eye contact, and in that aura of yours. Confidence isn't being fearless as being fearless makes you reckless, I guess. You need to go through fear to be brave, to be courageous. There is a reason for everything. Let’s complain less and be more grateful. For yourself, family, friends, and everything you are related to. Gratitude simplifies your life. There is always someone who aspires to live life the way you do. Unmask. Re-connect. Make time. Get aligned with the Most High, with nature, with parents. Find your roots through the right routes. Fix your priorities. Pick up calls. Reply to those texts. You are you. Physically, mentally, emotionally, and in every other aspect. Every single specific intricate detail about you is what makes you YOU. You disappoint some. You win some. You lose some. You earn some. You give back some. You hurt some. You love some. And that’s okay. This is life. I read it somewhere, “Be humble enough to know that you are replaceable and confident enough to know that there is no one like you.”

HUMAN NATURE IS NOT GOD GIVEN, IT’S A CHOICE; NATURE IS JUST AN EXCUSE. ALTHOUGH GOD HAS GIVEN SAME HEART TO EVERYONE, FEW PEOPLE ARE COLD-HEARTED. BECOME SELF FOCUSED INSTEAD OF SELF OBSESSED. UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR SUCCESS & HAPPINESS CAN’T BE AT THE EXPENSE OF OTHERS. ♥️ Polite society operates on assumption that we care, at least a little bit, about the people around us. Whether it’s honking at someone ahead in the traffic or offering someone a seat in a bus, behaviours as such show that basic kindness smooth the path of everyday. Yet we frequently encounter people who don’t play by these rules. Inconsiderate behaviour is all around us. Recently, I came across a video wherein a young boy was making fun of an especially abled kid who was trying to sing a song. This is not at all “unapologetically me” attitude. ♥️ The fundamental liberty & equality, if coupled with selfishness, will make a person only a devil. Know that rude behaviour can ruin someone’s mood, day or even life. Rude people lack an ability to put themselves in someone else’s shoes & they don’t seem to care how their actions affect others. Their inconsiderate behaviour lack regard for others’ feelings & basic human rights. ♥️ Don’t practice insensitivity. Selfishness is not pursuing your own good, but neglecting other’s. Also understand, being sensitive to feelings of others is a strength & a superpower not everyone has. The world will become a better place if we are sensitive towards one another. So, be aware, be sensitive. ♥️ Someone labels you as selfish is not a compliment. Being self-aware is a very different choice. My definition is simple: You keep in mind your own needs or wants & treat them with as much consideration as you treat the wants & needs of others. Live your life in such a manner that you make the world a better place for others. ♥️ Mindfully let go of self-absorption & make this an intentional, daily life habit. Be of service to others. Be helpful & kind as you go throughout your days. Free yourself of self-centeredness by practicing mindfulness with the practice of love for yourself & others. Even without the Fairy Godmother. I was having a chat, or discussion with my wife the other day. We had watched Cinderella a day or two before. A movie, incidentally, that I love, and I happened to say something along the lines of ‘life should be like a fairy tale, don’t you think?’ Initially she looked at me like I had lost the plot. No pun intended. And its not just because I have a tendency to wear frock coats either. Let’s just think about it for a minute, what exactly is a fairy tale? A fairytale is a genre of magical story usually originating in folklore. Typically, a poor, brave, and resourceful hero or heroine goes through testing adventures to eventual good fortune and love. They include a wondrous or magical element, and include fantasy, supernatural or make-believe aspects. Let’s start at the beginning then. Why shouldn’t you be the poor brave or resourceful hero or heroine? The first component for that to happen then is belief. I struggle with that, still. However, by a little luck and by conscious decision, I am slowly collecting a fantastically supportive group of people around me. People who believe in me and find ways to say ‘yes, we can do that’, I still need that pointing out to me from time to time. Recently whilst struggling, perceiving I been let down again, my wife pointed out that ‘she had never let me down’. Amazingly obvious, however I needed reminding. Belief will always lead to resourcefulness. However, I am starting to believe. Anxiety makes imposter syndrome difficult to put away. Entirely. Brave? Well I’m not about to start bungee jumping or getting in the ring with Anthony Joshua either. Both require a certain amount of madness and whilst I may have a certain amount of madness, it’s not that type of madness. However, if I start feeling fear about something that is part of the every day then that is my que to stand up and step forward. If I am living my own fairytale then I have to be brave. No mean feat when anxiety is still rolling around in there… Giving a presentation to a large group of people, in a frack coat is scary. But I won’t back down, I know that the euphoria on the other side of that fear is one of the things that makes life so special. Envy is a complex emotion that can have a detrimental impact on our present moment and overall well-being. When we allow envy to steal and take away our present moment, we fall into a negative cycle of comparison, dissatisfaction, and resentment. Here are some ways in which envy can steal and take away our present moment: 1. Comparison trap: Envy often arises when we compare ourselves to others. We may feel inadequate or lacking in some way when we see someone else's achievements, possessions, or success. This constant comparison steals our present moment by diverting our attention from the things that truly matter to us and focusing on what we perceive as lacking in our lives. 2. Unhappiness and dissatisfaction: Envy breeds unhappiness and dissatisfaction with our own lives. Instead of appreciating and being grateful for what we have, we become consumed by a desire for what others possess. This constant longing for what we don't have steals our present moment by preventing us from fully enjoying and embracing the present circumstances and experiences. 3. Resentment and bitterness: Envy can lead to feelings of resentment and bitterness towards those whom we perceive as more fortunate or successful. We may harbor negative emotions towards them, which not only affects our relationships but also steals our present moment by keeping us trapped in negativity and preventing us from finding joy and contentment in the present. 4. Missed opportunities: When we are consumed by envy, we may become so focused on what others have that we fail to recognize and seize opportunities in our own lives. Envy blinds us to our own potential and prevents us from taking action towards our goals and aspirations. As a result, we miss out on the present moment and the possibilities it holds. 5. Inability to appreciate the present: Envy distracts us from appreciating the present moment and all the blessings it brings. Instead of focusing on the beauty and significance of the present, we are constantly looking outward and comparing ourselves to others. This steals our present moment by robbing us of the opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in the present and experience gratitude for what we have. To overcome the negative effects of envy and reclaim our present moment, it is important to cultivate self-awareness, gratitude, and contentment. By shifting our focus from comparison to self-acceptance, from lack to gratitude, and from resentment to compassion, we can free ourselves from the grip of envy and embrace the present moment with open hearts and minds.
