What’s your grind?
The last two weeks have been a blur.
Short, yet, impactful trips to Washington DC, Dallas, Cincinnati, & back to Indianapolis have filled our schedule.
Having the opportunities to meet with amazing transitioning Military service members, Veterans and Spouses, great companies, & some of the premier Universities in the Country to begin partnering with them all, it’s part of our grind.
But, what we’ve found these last seven years is that when your grind is your purpose, and you slowdown & enjoy the process, it becomes a little bit easier.
Even in the rougher days.
And taking the time out to catchup with the folks that have taken this journey with us is paramount to our individual intrinsic fulfillment.
This gentleman is a prime example of that.
When we first met Kevin, he didn’t have his degree (yet), had just lost his job (that he knew he was ‘better than’), and was searching for his purpose in civilian life, after his time in the United States Marine Corps.
He took a chance on The Catalyst Program, crushed it, earned a phenomenal career as an executive in health care management, and has continued to build his beautiful family.
Every chance we get to spend time with our Alumni, we take.
Celebrating their achievements, both professionally and in life, make that grind worth it all.
Here’s a picture of Kev (he’s the handsome gentleman on the right… and I’m the other guy😳) and I in front of his beautiful home.
So whatever it is that you’re going through to get where you’re going, keep grinding.
And don’t be surprised if the great folks that you meet along the way, eventually become family.
I encourage you to at least be open to that.
For us, it makes it all worth it, and our grind, that much more enjoyable.
