Special thank you to our architectural partners, Sordo Madaleno, whose ability to capture the essence of our brand, while weaving in the local soul, really makes this venue unique. This is our seventh LAVO and we’re thrilled to open as a two-story venue in an amazing neighborhood like Paseo Arcos Bosques. It sets the tone perfectly for how the brand is evolving into the future. We intend to do a lot more in this city that is so rich in art and design. In our industry, a few things are as emotionally draining and taxing as opening a hospitality venue. Between the mental rollercoaster of negotiating a deal, the pitfalls of creating the concept and design, the endless hours and late nights of training a new team in culture, and gracious hospitality, all while having the whole boat row in the right direction. I am proud to say that I stand shoulder-to-shoulder and side-by-side with the best team in the world, Tao Group Hospitality. This team not only had the emotional intelligence and perseverance to not only open 1 but 10 new venues this year in multiple markets. A herculean feat that very few companies in our industry can accomplish. As I look back at the year, seeing every department’s hard work, energy, and execution, I am still blown away and humbly honored to work with such amazing people.
