She puts into practical terms, how this is relevant in the area of robotics, including how our worldview sets us up for certain research programs. This will segue the talk into the second part where she will outline findings from a recent literature review. The literature review investigates ways that the area of Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) has studied human-robot collaboration. Based on the literature review findings and the perspectives we can gain from a post-phenomenological worldview, Stine also describes future research opportunities for ways to design and study human-robot relationships. Our new published paper "Robust-to-noise algorithms for distributed resource allocation and scheduling" in 11th RSI International Conference on Robotics and Mechatronics (ICRoM 2023) is available as a preprint online.

Prof. Yi (Joey) Zhou from School of Robotics, Hunan University presented his work Event-based Visual Inertial Velometer in conference of Robotics: Science and Systems #RSS2024 at TU Delft. They proposed a novel design of state estimator using event-based cameras and IMU to solve the motion blur effect by standard camera. With the help of NOKOV #Mocap, the real-world experiments show that the proposed method can achieve state-of-the-art performance in terms of linear velocity estimation accuracy. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gy88GxmW
