With the backing of leading investors like Maveron, BBG Ventures, Correlation Ventures, GingerBread Capital, Alumni Ventures, Visible Ventures , Gaingels, and What If Ventures, Grayce will scale its innovative platform to enhance its employer solution and member experience as well as enter the payer market. With crisis-level staffing shortages in childcare, eldercare, and healthcare, more employees are being thrust into new roles as caregivers while juggling work. A glimpse at the magnitude of this growing crisis: 👵 By 2034, there will be more seniors than children in America; 🏥 Major staffing shortages in care, with home health and personal care aides projected to grow by 804,600 jobs between 2022 and 2032, the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ forecasted highest growth job category; 💼 100 million people are caring for loved ones (elders, adults, children), with 73% juggling caregiving with jobs; 😩 40% to 70% of caregivers report clinical symptoms of depression We recognize that millions of individuals are facing new care needs and responsibilities, and it's our goal to enable their success, providing assistance with navigating caregiving challenges, along with personalized practical and emotional support. 👏 We're incredibly grateful for the support of our investors, partners, and the communities we serve.
