Throughout the semester, I've learned the importance of a strong corporate reputation. It affects so many aspects of the business, from customer trust to brand image to competitive advantage. Not only that, but it directly impacts a company's bottom line, long-term sustainability, and ability to navigate challenges in a dynamic business environment. I would like to share a case study I wrote titled "Just Do It: Brand Activism in Corporate Spaces" for Professor Patrick Ford's Corporate Reputation class at the University of Florida. We were tasked to create a comprehensive case study on the corporate reputation management by a major corporation, and Nike immediately came to mind. In my paper, I analyze Nike's strategic use of brand activism to appeal to stakeholders, create a positive brand image and develop a strong corporate reputation.
