That's the key takeaway from my conversation with Ruchika Chopra, VP of Sales Operations at Illumio. She highlights key metrics for early-stage companies, like pipeline and product-market fit. Despite facing unique challenges like high user churn and a lowered brand image, we embraced the opportunity with zeal, embarking on a transformative four-week journey. Guided by the invaluable mentorship of Akash Bhargava💡 and Jaudat Ali, our exploration began with insightful user research, leading us to uncover the untapped potential within the lending niche. With a bold mission to elevate Slice's ARR from Rs. 864 Cr to Rs. 2400 Cr in 12 months, our user-centric approach prioritized acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies. By catering to underserved users and addressing concerns like NPA, we made significant strides in user acquisition and engagement. Presenting to over 3,000 attendees, both in-person and virtually, we showcased our innovative approach to propelling Slice's ARR from ₹864 Cr to an impressive ₹2400 Cr within just 12 months. 🚀 Our journey was not without its challenges. We faced hurdles like user churn and regulatory changes from the RBI, but we embraced them as opportunities for growth and learning. 💪 The key to our success? Extensive user research! We interviewed over 100 users, gaining invaluable insights that formed the backbone of our strategy. Over the next three weeks, we meticulously identified market opportunities, built a robust growth model, and narrowed down our top growth levers. Our winning formula combined strategic acquisition efforts to increase new users and targeted engagement and retention initiatives to boost loan borrowing rates. 📈 From revamped referral flows and strategic partnerships to new engagement-boosting features, our solutions were tailored to drive growth across multiple fronts. Last month at our Smoooth Week conference, I gave a talk about my transformative journey of working at Klarna! 🚀 Navigating through the dynamic fintech sector, we've all at some point faced great challenges, honed our abilities, sharpened our skills and achieved unthinkable feats. Yet, sometimes, the stress of those challenges outweigh the enjoyment and excitement of the journey. The question is - how can we reignite that spark? 🔥 In my talk, I shared how I breathed new life into my work by merging my love for storytelling and arts & culture into the scope of my daily work. 📚 How I turned complex data reporting into an engaging, narrative-driven visualization, making it an enjoyable experience for all of my stakeholders. The takeaway? Make your passions work for you at work. Be it cooking, cycling, or photography - each can be aligned to our professional tasks and responsibilities. It's about changing our approach, seeing things from different angles, and finding joy even in the face of sudden changes. 🔄 So, I encourage you all to bring your passions to work. Let's transform our workplaces into environments humming with enthusiasm, creativity, and fulfilment. 

May was huge for Unify—we grew ARR +16% ARR. Even more importantly—we took huge strides both individually and as a team through hiring and process strengthening: 1) Skyler's progress as our lead AE has been extremely promising. He closed 57% more ARR in May than in April, and attained 184% of quota. He's ramping up quickly on closed won and we're super thrilled with his growth. 2) We've landed a bunch of key hires. Our newest onboard, Noah Czelusta, just joined our engineering team. In week 1, he fixed Slack notifications, shipped new variables, and more. We have offers out to great AE candidates we're hopeful to welcome to our team—and we're still looking for more. 3) The product is moving really quickly—I believe we're fully hitting escape velocity. It's easy for us now to move fast and consistently put high-quality products into customers' hands. On top of that, we have a strong product feedback cycle. How we deploy, test, and roll out with customers has become a seamless process that leads to great builds. Our general philosophy is to work backward—starting by asking, "What do we want to change about how people use the product today?" and going from there.
