Founder & CEO of BioBQ, Inc. and Assistant Director of CIP Engineering for the City of Pflugerville, Texas

In October 2023 I happily started a new job as the Assistant Director of Traffic & Transportation for the City of Pflugerville. I am so thankful for being selected for this position because this is an opportunity to lead the development of a safer, more multimodal transportation system for a city that has grown from a small agricultural town to a major, diverse residential community and employment hub for Central Texas. The city is a delightful place to work with a collaborative, forward-thinking group of staff, consultants, and city leadership that support the vision of a safer, multimodal transportation system. I stepped in at the right time to ensure new roadway projects provide facilities for pedestrians, cyclists, and low speed modes, and include roundabouts where feasible to reduce the chances of crashes. I look forward to sharing the progress.  And for those that follow my other endeavors, yes, I’m still working on BioBQ too (after work); more updates on that later!   I stay wonderfully busy!
