I’ve never been very active on LinkedIn…but that’s about to change! I’m excited to start posting much more - about my work supporting LGBTQ+ immigrant clients, my journey as an immigration attorney and solo practitioner, and maybe even a few things about me as a person 🙂 So, here are a few quick things about me… 🇺🇸🇺🇸I’ve lived and practiced law in several places throughout the US and… interestingly, always near a huge body of water… in Chicago by Lake Michigan, in Fort Lauderdale by the Atlantic, Tampa by the Gulf, and now in Southern California by the Pacific. ⚖️⚖️ I’ve worked in private practice in firms of different sizes, as an appellate defender, and at a non-profit… and have been on my own as a solo practitioner. I appreciate the legal profession [insert lawyer joke here :) ] and all the different experiences it’s given me, and I think I’m a better lawyer because of those experiences. 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈 I focus my law practice on supporting the LGBTQ+ community with immigration needs… whether individual, family, humanitarian, or business matters. Of course I handle other immigration cases too, but my passion, and expertise, lies here. I’m excited to start posting more, and particularly raise even more awareness of the unique immigration aspects of LGBTQ+ immigrant clients and other things I’ve learned along the way as a solo practitioner.
