Unpopular opinion - I've really liked my Wells Fargo checking account. In a banking landscape of digital-only banks with sub-par customer service that requires me to wait on hold forever, it's nice to be able to stroll into my local branch and talk to a human. Or get cash without paying an ATM fee. I know Wells Fargo has had a bad rap over the years (I quit them several years ago after being fed up with junk fees), but it's been different this time around. Usually, it's creepy when I can tell the algorithm has been watching me. Today, it's actually been helpful. For the last day or two, I've been quietly searching LinkedIn for a few additional clients to fill my queue. Now about half of the posts I see are folks looking for freelance writing help. Thanks to the LinkedIn bots for making my search easier. I haven't found my Goldilocks-fit new clients yet, so if you know anyone who needs a personal finance or real estate writer who is an excellent researcher, cites every source, and has an editor's attention to detail, please send them my way!

Hi freelancer friends! I'd love your opinion on a conundrum I have. My husband's nephew is a well-established real estate agent, and I'd love to use him as a source for some of my real estate articles. But we have the same last name, and it's more unique than say Smith or Johnson, so it's kind of obvious we're related. He definitely has the credentials to be a great resource, but is this frowned upon? Has anyone else come across this?

Sometimes I'm cruising along with an editing job, and I'll come across a gem that blows my mind. These diamonds in the rough come from regular people who write stuff too, not just seasoned, professional writers. Are there any health insurance experts in my network? I'm searching for a source that can comment to help define common insurance terms for an article aimed at Gen Z (like co-insurance, EOB, premium, etc.). Can anyone help me out with this?
