How do you get feedback from your coworking members? In reality, you meet them every day. You greet them when they arrive, you eat lunch together, take breaks, attend events, go hiking? And you all talk. They talk about their life, you talk about yours. And so... your coworking. You can present ideas you plan to work on and ask for their opinions. They will tell you what they think about your space and ideas. And, maybe, they’re not needed. Don’t overthink it. What they need and want might be right here. #community #coworking #remotework

Pauline started the 5th coworking space in France in 2013. She didn’t know what was going to hit her. Managing a space is a lot of work. And drains your energy. As Christoph was saying: ‘I don’t want anymore to have a phone call at 2 am on Saturday because a member is stuck in the elevator.’ That is the kind of situation coworking managers have to handle. So it’s not for everyone. It’s for the young and innocent. It’s for those who want that energy. To meet new people all the time. To build friendships. What do a church, bar and breakfast have in common? I had a lovely talk with Ivana Radic from HUB385. She explained how her space is organizing many different things for its members. Half of it is your typical coworking space. The other half is an event space that can host 100 people. Then, they have a casual cafe on the ground floor for everyone to take a break and some lunch. Every month, they host there some breakfast for all their members. And then, alongside their small church, they’re planning to reopen their bar. A coworking can offer its members all kinds of things. Is sky the limit or will we soon have a space on the Moon? What about Mars? #community #coworking #remotework
