We are in carbon steel sector focus on high carbon steel strip in cold rolled hardening and tempering conditions, supplying hardened and tempered steel strip, cold rolled annealed steel strip to global customer.
After master coils are cold rolled, the coils are slit to narrow width before annealing or hardening & tempering or cut to required length into sheets. Slitting involves passing the coiled strip through a set of rotating knives that continuously shear the wide coil to the exact width required in narrower coils. #steel #sheet #coil #industry #saw #blade

How do you like this PVC pipe joiner? Read the comments!
One from the archives today, a neat piece of kit I stumbled across for precisely joining PVC pipe together. Much preferred method over what some do with an excavator bucket pushing on the end of the pipe! — Please note, angle of video makes the trench look deeper than it is, edges are sloped appropriately for the material.

Surely Pre-Cast Elements in construction are the future. But not having studied about it a lot they make me curious about the design calculations, differential in safety, and its design according to different Design codes. Particularly for this video I would like to learn more about the bolted connections, structural safety (weather its the same as reinforced section or improved), in what type of structures it can be used, embodied carbon emissions, and lot more. It surely is efficient and effortless but since it is bolted is it same as it is in steel structures? or it is designed purely as concrete or composite? Is the design calculations different and easier or difficult and lengthy? What are the Pros and Cons? Are they efficient for tall structures? Are there in different types of foundations for these? How are they reinforced? Does this affect the life span of a structure? I would be glad to learn more about this.
precast column base bolted connection🔩🔩. ✔️Precast column is the effortless making process by use of molds at factory🏭. ✔️only one 1️⃣ crane🏗️ operator and 2️⃣ worker need for installation. ✔️we can install the precast column with in 10 mins🕐 safely,by the use of bolt connection 🔩. ✔️bolted connection have a two parts one is column sleeves ,cast into the column at precast plant 🏭 and another one is anchor bolt🔩,which is casting correctly in cip foundation at site💪. ✔️Connecting column with foundation is by bolt🔩.we don't need temporary bracing🤝 for waiting for the grouting.insteed the connection is stiff as soon as nut tighter, the crane move on to the next column wide away.this is save crane 🏗️time and man power👷 needs. #Post24#precast#crane#erection#structural

Picture of the month: looping pit A look into the depths: the picture shows a so-called looping pit which serves two functions in our production process. On the one hand, the pits – which can be up to 15 meters deep –are part of our continuous annealing furnaces and serve as a kind of strip buffer storage while the ends of two successive lengths of strip are welded together. This means that we don’t have to stop the production lines and can continuously produce our customized steel strip. Secondly, the strip “stored” in the pit on our slitting lines is used to compensate for the different strip lengths. Another benefit is that the material hangs next to each other in the pit as individual lengths of strip, so that the surfaces do not touch and scratch each other. #potm #pictureofthemonth #productionprocess #production #hightechnology #efficiency #steel #coldrolledsteel #steelindustry #inspireinnovateimprove
