As some of you know, away from work, one of my passions is coaching softball. This week, our team won the New Jersey Little League Championship and starting today, we will be competing in the Mid-Atlantic Regional tournament, representing the great State of NJ, which is broadcast on ESPN+.

That's funny. I randomly turned the game on and watched the last few innings with my daughter, who plays softball, too (10U). It was a good game, but it was a tough loss.

I recently joined a slow pitch softball league with my church River Oak Church. If you know any #baseball players, it's hard to want to make the switch over to softball. It's definitely a change of pace and a little uncomfortable at first. Trying something new always comes with its challenges and will push you out of your comfort zone. But here’s the thing: #growth often comes from stepping into the unfamiliar. It’s through these challenges that we build new #skills, make unexpected #connections, and discover #strengths we didn’t know we had. If you’re facing something new or uncomfortable, remember that it’s all part of the #journey. Embrace the discomfort, learn from it, and celebrate the progress you make along the way.
