I crave challenge, just not the kind my kids like to throw my way. I coach people on how to create long-lasting impact focused organisations without the overwhelm, or burnout, and that's because I've danced that dance myself more times than anyone should have. The best thing about my brain is how it helps me to connect dots other people often don't see. People talk about my organisation skills being awesome; they're actually not, but my ability to recognise where things fall over and create systems to simplify the process of being organised IS awesome. I take complex things and make them simpler. The kind of challenge that really lights my fire is strategy. Its pulling apart the things that burn people out, identifying what lights them up and then creating a simple plan to put it all back together in a way that works for them to create success. But the most important part of this equation isn't my skillset. Its the knowledge that success is subjective. My definition isn't yours. Your coaching business is a direct reflection of you. If you’re slacking in certain areas of your life, It will affect your business. This has happened to me many times. Last year, I stayed up till 2 am watching a new Netflix series. Even though I had a sales call lined up for 8:30 am in the morning. When I took the call, I completely blew it. The buyer and almost zero interest in working with me. I take full responsibility for that. I’ve never let a mistake like that happen again. In the coaching space that we are in, - We are the product - We are the brand - We are the service You must show up every day. That’s how you’re going to build a 6-7 figure business. 

When you think of struggle, you think of it as one big thing that wrecks havoc on everything it touches. And, as a single force, it certainly has power to do that. But, when you separate the energy of the struggle from the struggle itself, it becomes more manageable. There's often a saying in most homes about "leaving work at work" or if you're in the workplace, "leaving home at home". The intention in this saying is to create boundaries so focus can exist without distraction in the designated space, not to avoid or ignore whatever the issue is at hand altogether. This is important because if you aren't careful, the energy generated from whatever is going on can hitch a ride into any new setting you bring it into—unless you decide it's no longer okay to do so. Struggles can be handled the same way. And, you are 100% capable of handling what comes your way. My advisory goes a little deeper than most business coaches. I don’t even know how to explain it to most people, you just have to experience it. Historically I’ve only worked with people who understand how I work but that’s quite a small pool of people to benefit from my work. You see I work with energetics. Most business coaches work with the surface level stuff - your marketing strategy, your sales strategy, getting your product right. All of that stuff is important, it’s like laying the cables to connect the city. But what they don’t teach you is how to turn the power on. You’ll know this even if you don’t know you know this. How many times have you invested in a strategy and on the outside it’s perfect - it should work, but nope - all you get is crickets. And then other times you throw shit at the wall, zero strategy, something sticks and suddenly you are flying. It all comes down to the energy that’s behind your actions. If you are sourcing your power from the right place, people buy, strategies work, you feel alive. But if you are wrapped up in scarcity and stress - people feel that and walk away leaving you nothing but problems. I can see what’s behind your actions. I can see where you are coming from. It’s very easy for me to see where your power is trapped and to help you unlock it. The trouble is, it’s not always where you want it to be and this is why I sometimes make people feel uncomfortable 🤣 I have to take you to an inconvinient place and hold your feet to the fire. There’s no moving forward until you can sit with yourself there and burn. Because while you are striving in your business, your power could be trapped in your marriage, and until you make peace over here, all of your efforts over there will be pointless. What do you want to achieve before the end of 2023? My mantra for 2023 has been "Live more, work less and empower others" And I have been working towards this albeit not as quickly as I would like. Live more - I have taken more holidays, blocked out more days to go walking and spend valuable time with friends and family and gone back to interests that I Work less - I am definitely working less weekends but this is the area I need to work on if you pardon the paradox. Trouble is I love my job so it is easy to overdo it! Empower others - I have a great year helping others - both FMCG brands and also others in retail and intralogistics. I have run my first workshop with 50 people and maxed out with more 1-1 Business coaching and helped as many as I could with my second book Buyer-ology® What I have found with my transitition is that you need help and support from someone who gets it. Each of my coaching clients dances to the beat of their own drum. 🥁 Ages range from their 20s to their 60s, including men and women across different parts of the world. Different ethnicities, religions and nationalities. They couldn't be more different from one another in many ways. Sessions are so different because of this, too. Some of them will spend the session talking 90% of the time, others wait for me to lead. Some want really tactical advice, some seek out reflective and deep conversations about the world at large or esoteric principles. Some message me for support in between sessions and others never at all. Yet they all want the same exact things... More ease in their business, more revenue, less indecision, less anxiety, more enjoyment, influence and impact...
