Last year John Legend and Rajakumari penned the Johnnie Walker/ Walkers & Co anthem to include these words: …There is more to life … …step off that borderline…there is so much we can explore… …you wanna turn it all the way up … ..Let’s Keep Walking, keep on walking …. This rallying cry was as close to my own purpose as it gets (at that time just in the subconscious) as I started my Diageo journey over six years back. It has been an absolute privilege to lead the India & South Asia luxury premium ++ business and iconic brand portfolio cross functionally to unprecedented heights. DIAGEO India gave a broad canvas and I had the privilege of setting an audacious vision of shaping the culture of socialisation while breaking new grounds of growth by premiumisation. In some time, it became the overarching driving force for teams across the organisation and like how… There we were - winning one milestone to the other, cruising through turbulence and tailwinds alike. A lot of what we led with, added hugely to normalisation of spirits as a category overall. Campaigns that won consumers & awards, platforms to celebrate new dimensions of inclusivity (beyond gender), future ready, sustainability forward innovations, growth in multiples and not just in CAGRs, all lines of the P&L brimming with healthy glow! Marked my last days at Diageo this week and spent them well with people who fuel it all. You have all left me with huge gratitude for your partnership in every dimension possible. Teams, stakeholders, colleagues who walk the talk, learn and unlearn , challenge<>equally get challenged and yet prevail. A gigantic thanks for every bit of the enrichment that I leave with. What is next ? A new chapter you say… I say its time for a new book! Very excited for the leap on the horizon... but for now, its all about a wee savour the pause!

From Beer to Boardroom: Embracing Diversity for a Competitive Edge Bravo to Heineken for this incredible campaign! I may not be a big beer drinker, but their video resonated with me on so many levels. (watch here: https://lnkd.in/d8b4d-n2) In today's interconnected and fast-paced business world, companies that embrace and build upon diverse perspectives are not only solving problems more effectively but also creating sustainable competitive advantages. It's easier said than done. Executives and leaders need to model open behaviors, build true psychological safety, and incorporate healthy debates into their decision-making processes. Individual contributors must also nurture their curiosity and be willing to embrace the "self-disruption" of their own ideas, which stems from a process of self-awareness. While skills and behaviors are essential, the processes that support surfacing different opinions and working together to create a shared vision are equally critical. I've had the privilege of working with CMOs and GTM teams, witnessing firsthand the power of diverse perspectives and working to create a shared path forward (or “building bridges” as the video showed us). By leveraging best-practices, discussions are guided, outcomes are accelerated and the creation of a shared path forward emerges. Everytime, the result is not only rewarding but also invigorating. Work with people who are better than you… and support their growth! I set goals for the next few years a few weeks ago, soon after my birthday. Since I was 20, I've approached planning in this manner. Now I've made or discovered goals for the next eight years, and more particularly, goals for the next 100 months;) The most crucial thing for me to do in order to achieve them is to be guided by values and ideals. Several aspects that are very significant to me have guided my professional activity over the years. One of them was to always work with individuals who were better than me, to promote their growth, and to ensure succession. After leaving Bahlsen Polska I was proud that Grzegorz Skorka accepted the position of Sales Director after me and Maciej Nowak started working as NKAM MT. After a period of dynamic work in transformation at Kompania Piwowarska Piwowarska, when I decided to move to Perfetti Van Melle, Wojciech Kamiński took over responsibility for my projects, and this was the best for the company's development. Zdzisław Krzan Krzan, my closest colleague and an outstanding manager and excellent leader, became sales director at Perfetti Van Melle Poland after I moved to Turkey. He develops the company incredibly, guaranteeing stability and excellent results. Unfortunately, Berkay Özdil, the incredible transformation leader of RTM and RGM, left Perfetti just two months after I moved to Amsterdam. Another company guaranteed his development and appreciated his competence. I've had and continue to have the privilege of working with many excellent folks. It is impossible to list all of them. I appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with you. Thank you very much for this, because I owe a lot of what I am now to you. Thank you for constantly learning how to improve yourself. And the only way to transcend oneself is via cooperation and trust. How did Leap Day become a launchpad for transformation? Yesterday was a day of incredible fortune, as I had the privilege to facilitate a workshop for Pernod Ricard This French powerhouse has grown globally, boasting 19,000 employees and stewarding iconic brands like Ramazzotti, Havana Club, Absolut, Chivas Regal, Malibu, and Lillet. The recipe for an unforgettable workshop day included: 🏰 An inspiring location dubbed “Chateauform,” a facilitator’s paradise. 👏 A dream team of facilitators: my two besties Matilda Verney and Audrey Thouvenin complemented by 3 highly skilled in-house facilitators. 🥳 Precious moments to chat with participants, diving deep into the group’s history and the project’s significance. The true magic, however, stemmed from the collaboration and co-creation with Pernod Ricard’s exceptional change-management team and with Alexandre JUDGES ( btw we met via #linkedin) who trusted me with this contract, since he couldn’t make it that day..🙏🏻 thank you!!
