Love seeing this progress! This week workers installed a 6,000 lb beam at BlueOval SK Battery Park signed by members of the community (including Governor Andy Beshear) at the Dec. 5 construction celebration. Grateful for the people of Central Kentucky for leaving their mark – literally and figuratively – on this project. This site will be home to 5,000 all-new, high-tech jobs building advanced batteries for future Ford and Lincoln Motor Company vehicles. #BlueOvalSK #FordMotorCompany #EVs Ford Motor Company
Looks like everyone was BEAMING with pride! (Sorry, couldn't resist!)
I bought my first domestic car last week after buying only Mercedes and BMW for the last 10 years. I went with German because of quality and reliability. I’ve had zero problems with German cars. Last Saturday I picked up a brand new 2022 Shelby GT500 at a cost over 6 figures. It broke down with transmission issues 35 minutes after leaving the dealer. I couldn’t make it home. First impressions are big. Talk about being disappointed.
I recognize the problems everyone is having with supply chain issues. But I would love to see a blue oval symbol in my driveway it has been 16 month and my 2022 Super Duty has been built but went to storage instead of being shipped. Looks like some parts are missing. My truck will be over a year old before I get it. Delivery is going much slower than your construction Frustrated Archie Kerr Sarnia Ontario
Yeah that’s so great. You guys can waste money and all the stuff but you can’t take care of the customer so far he bought your cars they’re still waiting for parts to be available so they can drive their car properly
Will batteries be made from hemp?
The beam being signed and the RSJ being fitted into place as roof support are different or have I missed something
That would look better on a MIchigan site
You know what I would Love to see? Ford making progress on Finally building my new Transit that I ordered OVER 13 MONTHS AGO! But it's whatever... 🫤

1yMaybe spend more time trying to resolve issues your existing customers are experiencing before expanding and making it worse. Taking over 5 months (or who knows how long after 8 estimated delivery windows) just to get my super duty (and others) shipped/delivered while recently built (Nov/Dec) ones are already shipped and delivered. That’s after 5 months to build. Let customers go to KTP and pick them up. Shouldn’t be that hard to figure out! Worst buying experience ever.
