Starting today, eligible Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning owners in the US or Canada can reserve a complimentary Fast Charging Adapter for their Ford EV and access Tesla Superchargers by heading to https://lnkd.in/eCdAbaab This will improve the EV ownership experience, so I’m proud Ford Motor Company is first to offer our customers this access. With Tesla Superchargers added to the Ford BlueOval Charge Network, it more than doubles the fast-chargers available to them. Paired with Plug & Charge, no other apps are needed to start a charge! I've tested it myself and it works great. Making something this easy to use takes a lot of hard work behind-the-scenes, so congrats to the Ford and Tesla teams for making this happen. I would also like to thank Elon Musk and the Tesla team for their close collaboration and Tesla’s leadership to help change the lives of so many EV customers through improved access to charging. #electricvehicles #EV #electricvehiclecharging #ford #tesla

FORD NEVER MORE. I bought the Ford Escape SE. Less than 1 year ago the car had transmission problems. As I have an extended car warranty, I made the appointment for February 6, 2024. Guess what? The car remains parked in the yard and so far there is no position as to when they will move it. Approximately 1 month without doing anything to my car. Including my car because it's my way of working, I lost my job and I can't pay my bills. I was treated very poorly by the service manager and from now on I will be talking to my lawyer to resolve the problem for me. The Ford is located in East Hanover - NJ (Performance Ford).

Let's be honest given the price of a Ford EV and the price of the adaptor Dont you think the adaptor should be thrown in and made standard equipment

Yet another reason why adoption is lower than anticipated, would you EVER need an adapter at a legacy/traditional fueling station, NO never, this proprietary BS just makes me sick, Personally I wish you could just "swap" out to a fully charged battery, rather than waiting to charge, this tech is all the rage in Singapore, yes it's for scooters, however similar tech should be part of every new EV, not a "fixed" battery, this would also extend the life of an EV vehicle in general, when battery delegation starts to occur, you don't need to get a new car, just a new battery (hopefully with better tech/range). Branded charging stations are ridiculous, I know, I know it's Intellectual Proprietary Property & a money maker. Oh I know make it open-source, than ALL charging stations would be "generic" with NO need to brand.

I own a Tesla. I sold my Mustang GT to buy it. I really liked the Mach-E but the slower charging was a killer as I drive a lot of 4-5 hour trips. Can’t say I’m looking forward to always available Tesla chargers jammed up with scab cars. Lol. Already seeing it with some Kia’s.

Ditch The EV Hydrogen (H2) and The Ford Boss 429 The Boss 429 was a high-performance gasoline engine that was designed for NASCAR racing. It was only produced for two years, 1969 and 1970. The typical horsepower for the Ford Boss 429 cubic inch engine is 375. This was the factory rating, but many believe that the actual horsepower was closer to 500. Data shows hydrogen produces significantly fewer pollutants than gasoline. This is because hydrogen is a clean-burning fuel that does not contain carbon. Hydrogen internal combustion engines (HICEs) produce significantly lower emissions of NOx than gasoline or diesel engines. In fact, some studies have shown that HICEs can produce up to 90% less NOx than gasoline engines. Overall, hydrogen-powered engines have the potential to produce significantly more power than gasoline engines. For example: If the Boss 429 was powered by hydrogen, it would likely produce around 1500 horsepower and 1200 lb-ft of torque. This would make it one of the most powerful engines ever produced.

Jim Farley- The first photo shows a Mach-e taking up 2 charging slots: 1) the charger they are using, which is designed for a Model S, 3 or X to back in and charge at the rear left corner. That parking spot is left open, but the charger is in use. 2) the charging spot next to it, which has a car in it, but has a charger which cannot be used by a Tesla (but could be used by an EV with a different port location). What's the plan to address this?

Hi Jim! How about a $20K 50MPG gasoline-powered "world" car for the younger generations and lower income folks in the US? Either that or keep pushing EV's costing as much as three houses in Detroit. Your choice. (Where are the stockholders?)

Someday in the far future, some brilliant scientist will discover this material that is inexpensive to produce, is readily available, and can conveniently power cars for long distances. They will ask him what he calls it--and he will say "I was thinking of calling it gasoline"..
