Last week was the long awaited reopening of Michigan Central Station. Everyone is eager to get inside and see the amazing transformation, so I was glad we could surprise our local team and continue the celebration by hosting Ford's monthly Global Town Hall inside the station. It was a special moment to see Bill Ford speak about what this project has meant to him and what it will mean for our company and employees. We talked about the exciting transformation happening at Ford right now — from investing in our manufacturing plants to opening up new centers around the world focused on tech, design, EVs and more. Michigan Central is going to be a site of innovation and growth for our company and many other companies. For example, Newlab Detroit (a tech hub located on the Michigan Central campus) has already hit a membership of 100 new startups as part of its innovation center. A lot of important work will be done here on a national and global scale. And they'll be able to say it all started in Detroit. Thanks to the employees that were able to attend in person. And if you haven’t made it to the station yet, you’ve got to see it for yourself. So much more to come! #WeAreFord #MichiganCentral #FordMotorCompany #MichiganCentralStation #Detroit Ford Motor Company

I took such notice, to get in front of #FordMostAdored at the Kentucky Derby to make sure that I delivered my strength. I'm unsure if Ford in Deerfield, MI was the one to sponsor the event, but the day was memorable. Everyone looked so beautiful, the grounds were well decorated and the Mint Juleps were excellent. I have reason to believe you saw my work, which was right behind my [Lincoln] and had possibly known about it ahead of time. There is still filtration to be done, as I would never show my final result. Henry Ford and I had a shepherding moment... #FordspiredForLife When it comes to life #SignMeUpOnTheWaitingList as I'm sure there is still discussion. (Btw, did you take a jab at my new Ford Escape? :( unanswered concern)
Loved the event. Loved the amazing restored historical building 👍
I know I’m not important because I only bought 1 F450 but it’s not okay that my truck is off road and not usable over backordered parts and nothing from Ford. Not a great experience for someone who has been a loyal customer for over a decade. But I’m just one guy so not important
Good for Ford in their support of this rejuvenation project. The resulting transformation is nothing less than an 8th Wonder of the Modern World .
It's wonderful to see the rich history of Michigan Central Station being revitalized in such an impactful way. The combination of Ford's investment in innovation and the new tech hub is truly inspiring. How do you foresee these changes influencing the broader community in Detroit and beyond?
One wonders when they’ll get around to transforming Ford into a well run company
Amazing strides! Sure indeed ! Extremely Happy to note that Michigan Central will be the site of innovation and growth for the esteemed Ford Motor Company and many other companies including the new startups! All have started well in Detroit! Kudos to one and all who have contributed to make this happen ❤️
Very good Jim Farley Sir, have you described them in good words, may God make your thought a reality...👌🏻
That's great! Maybe now they can focus on all the recalls they have. They have more recalls than any other auto manufacturer. No longer "Ford Tough".

1moAs a youngster growing up in Detroit during the 60’s - 70’s I was amazed by the beauty of Michigan Central Station every time my Dad and I drove by it when attending Lions and Tigers home games. Forever grateful to Bill Ford and his family for saving this architectural jewel.
