For the past few years, rapid technological advancement has defined the automotive industry. Cars are no longer internal combustion engines overlaid with a frame. They’ve become sophisticated computers and software systems that shape our driving experience, and the car making industry itself has shifted into a software business. I recently got to discuss this with the brilliant Drew Baglino of Tesla, a company at the forefront of the intersection between tech and car making. Drew leads the company’s engineering and technology development and is a central figure in this industry shift. We had a terrific conversation about the industry’s transformation and future at Endeavor Greece.
