Old friends are the best friends, and for myself and my team at Elcome International LLC our 55 year friendship with Anschuetz GmbH is a perfect example of that. It was great have Andre and Murat visit us to discuss how we can grow our mutual business in the coming year.

Our colleagues at Karibu Connect are wrapping up a big deployment of #Starlink for the Kenya Wildlife Service. With several installs a day, they have connected all national parks in the country representing about 8% of the country’s landmass. This is only the beginning of what we’re doing with KWS to further their conservation efforts and improve the experience for visitors to national parks.

There’s a fine line between flexibility and confusion…but the connectivity team at Elcome International LLC is planning to push the limits by offering many new offerings for our Starlink customers…hopefully we don’t end up confusing ourselves in the process! 😬 So what have we got planned? A lot…here’s a preview: - activate a new Mobile Priority 50GB subscription by August 31st and get double the data for 12 months. That’s 100GB of Mobile Priority data for only $250/month! - new Mobile Priority 250GB & 500GB plans in addition to the existing 50GB, 1TB, 5TB, 10TB, and Unlimited plans - add data in 100GB increments to any plan - combine multiple 50/250/500GB subscriptions into a shared pool of data for a fleet of vessels - pay-as-you-go plan where you only pay for the data you consume Asneed and I have a lot more planned but our development team will quit if we promise any more features right now…the tech stack they are building is going to make it possible (though not necessarily advisable) to create almost an infinite number of Starlink powered services for our customers. What plans or features would you like to have? We make no promises but we will certainly consider all suggestions.

A quarter century ago today, I began my professional journey in a nondescript office building in San Jose, California. The sign outside read University of Phoenix, but on the inside I found an eclectic group of brilliant individuals from Microsoft's Macintosh Business Unit who taught me the values of passion, customer focus, meticulousness, uncompromising standards, and decency. On June 28th, 1999, I became [email protected], a moment that changed the trajectory of my life for the better. Those four years at Microsoft were transformative, shaping who I am today. Some of my most cherished friendships began in that building on North First Street. I’m looking forward to 25 more years of working, learning, having fun, and making friends.
