I recently visited our team at LanzaJet Freedom Pines Fuels. We have an amazing team that is working every day and night, safely operating the world's first ethanol-to-SAF plant. I'm incredibly proud of them, their resilience and grit, and their passion to make a difference. Whether it's shaping an industry ecosystem and national policies, or building the world's first plant and operating it - we are making progress and creating a ray of hope that more sustainable days are just ahead. #SomedayIsNow

Today, we welcomed MUFG, one of the world’s largest financial groups and Japan’s largest bank, as a new investor in LanzaJet. We’ve continued to build a world-class team of investors, and this latest investment enhances our ability to expand in markets globally.  By diversifying our investors to include major global financial institutions like MUFG, we are better positioned to lead the #SustainableAviationFuels (#SAF) industry. It allows us to drive the development of SAF infrastructure globally.     We are still in the early days of building the SAF industry. Decarbonizing aviation demands a concerted global effort, which is why LanzaJet is committed to forming strategic global partnerships to advance the SAF industry. We recently celebrated our 4-year anniversary at LanzaJet - and we have a lot of which to be proud and much for which we're grateful. I often talk publicly about being on a journey to change how our society produces fuels that power our global economy. We've been building a company at the leading edge of innovation while also laying the foundation for a new sustainable fuels industry - and we're only at the beginning! Our team of more than 150 is now working with customers in 25+ countries to enable an energy transition - to pivot from 80+ years of pulling fossil crude oil out of the ground to create fuels and instead to use renewable sources above ground. So, why celebrate 4-years? Just this year... ✅ We continued to build an amazing team that I believe is the most capable and talented in the sustainable fuels industry - engineers, operators, biofuel and SAF experts, policy leaders, and top finance and commercial talent ✅ We fully-funded, finished construction, and held the grand opening of the world's first ethanol-to-sustainable fuels plant (#SustainableAviationFuel / #SAF & #RenewableDiesel / #RD) ✅ We are enabling countries to address climate change, energy security, and national security needs by actively developing projects using our Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ) technology in the US, UK, India, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Sweden, France, and many other countries ✅ We expanded our already incredible investor group to now include Southwest Airlines, Microsoft, Groupe ADP (and more to come) in addition to our founding investors of British Airways, LanzaTech, Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Shell, and Suncor, along with funding from Breakthrough Energy , U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and All Nippon Airways ✅ We created a pathway for #ethanol as a biointermediate in the US to produce SAF, and for ethanol-to-SAF to qualify under the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Renewable Fuel Standard and Inflation Reduction Act - creating a future market for ethanol producers ✅ We received approval for SAF made from ethanol using our Alcohol-to-Jet process to use the Colonial Pipeline Company infrastructure once blended with jet fuel ✅ We collaborated with LanzaTech to integrate our technologies to create an end-to-end solution from waste to fuels, with active projects in the Middle East, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, UK, US, and Asia ✅ We continued to enhance our partnership with Technip Energies as both a technology and execution partner as we deploy our ATJ solution globally ✅ We received recognition as a TIME 100 Most Influential Company and as a Fortune Most Innovative Company We have a long way to still go to do what's needed in our industry and society, and it's important to celebrate along the way as it fuels us as a team to continue to power through the challenges yet ahead. This is my favorite time of year at LanzaJet as we welcome our annual summer intern cohort. Our class of 12 interns this year is intended to give these young men and women exposure to the leading edge work we do, our culture, foundational skills to help launch their careers, and to enable them to lean into their passions and create a career and life of meaningful impact. Nearly 30 years ago, I was given my first professional experience as an intern which shaped the trajectory of my career. I'm hoping the same happens for our LanzaJet interns. Many thanks to Emily Sandstedt for building our intern program this year and for launching Flight School which will last throughout the summer. Great to have Nolan Son, Elizabeth Griswold, Michael Fahs, Mackenzie Fieser, Adam Sadek, Chantal Korde, Sebastian Hawkes, Megan Camacho, Shane Tarjan, Emily Mittenthal, Denys Chelak, Anika Knipple with us this season. We're on a mission to decarbonize aviation globally - LanzaJet is teaming up with Haffner Energy and LanzaTech on a #SustainableAviationFuel (#SAF) plant project at Aéroport Paris-Vatry. The “Paris-Vatry SAF” project is a terrific example of the versatility of the Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ) SAF platform.   This collaboration highlights how LanzaJet can meet the increasing demand in Europe for low-carbon, sustainable fuels made from advanced feedstocks. LanzaJet’s ethanol-to-SAF technology process along with LanzaTech carbon recycling technology is uniquely suited to converting diverse biomass sources into SAF, ensuring compliance with EU regulations.     Together with Haffner Energy and LanzaTech, we’re driving innovation and sustainability in aviation while advancing the circular economy. Today at LanzaJet we shared news that ethanol-based Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ) #SustainableAviationFuel (#SAF) is approved by Colonial Pipeline Company. This is a significant development for the Alcohol-to-Jet pathway! Ethanol-based ATJ SAF can now be distributed via pipelines, opening up cost-effective logistics. We often talk about the work we do to develop the ecosystem overall, and this is another example of the foundation we're helping build for the SAF industry. #SomedayIsNow #cleantech #energytransition

I recently spoke at the Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. Securities, Inc. / Perella Weinberg Hotter 'n Hell event, as did Coach Bill Belichick formerly of the New England Patriots (8x Super Bowl Champion of which 6 were with the Patriots). It was great to hear his thoughts on building a team, making a bet on talent, game and team strategies, decision-making, etc. A neat opportunity to hear perspective from a completely different industry and apply it to the clean energy transition we're working hard to achieve at LanzaJet.

Today, we’re announcing another industry first. LanzaJet has secured a $20M investment from Groupe ADP, the global airport owner and operator. Groupe ADP has a presence in 120 airports and 50 countries, including Paris - Charles de Gaulle Airport. This is the first time an airport owner and operator has invested in a #SustainableAviationFuel / #SAF company and that’s incredibly meaningful for the industry to see the collective support for SAF across the entire value chain.     With Groupe ADP as a new investor, we’re better positioned to leverage the critical role airports play in the advancement of SAF globally. This partnership enables us to build the logistics required to bring SAF directly to commercial planes, helping airlines transition toward a more sustainable future.    This new funding comes on the heels of previous investments from Southwest Airlines and Microsoft’s Climate Innovation Fund, reinforcing our ability to accelerate deployment of our Sustainable Aviation Fuel (#SAF) technology in key markets.     I’m proud of this accomplishment and what it means for us at LanzaJet and the industry.
