Hi LinkedIn! I hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! If you're a history buff, you'll find this interesting... Harford County, where I'm from in Maryland penned our country's first Declaration of Independence known as the Bush Declaration. This was in March 1775, to document their support of Boston and opposition to British control. The Bush Declaration contributed to the format and premise of the well-known United States Declaration of Independence that we celebrate every July 4th. Freedom is never quite free, as noted by the ending statement of the declaration, "At the risque of our lives and fortunes." More can be found here: https://lnkd.in/eavnmegs
