📢 Blackstone President Jon Gray suggests that deal activity is picking up, making now the best time to enter the market when you see the light at the end of the tunnel. According to Gray, we are in a regime change with interest rates anticipated to be lowered, but not as much as what the market has priced in. If you're looking for investment opportunities, Gray outlines three areas to consider: private credit, capital solutions provider, and equity. For equity investments, life sciences and energy transition are two areas to keep an eye on. Private credit investments can provide high rates plus spread, allowing you to earn equity-like returns as a lender. I have always found Blackstone's insights on the current state of the market to be particularly useful, given their size and the number of data points they can base their insights on.
