I found the inaugural Marketing Hops session very insightful and perfect timing for a Friday afternoon! The discussion around the risk of Sales and Marketing being disconnected is particularly relatable. I have seen the value created by working across the organization to 1) gather insights from people closest to the customer (internal or external); 2) understand the often-different opinions between stakeholders; and 3) cooperatively evaluate whether a process or strategy is working. When we take time to listen to those perspectives, particularly from experts in other disciplines, we can align on a shared view of the challenge or goal, create strong alignment around potential solutions, share accountability and build the trust and agility that will inspire continuous learning and improvement - with less judgment.
