CEO/ Founder of Midi Health, revolutionizing healthcare for women at midlife - to relieve their symptoms and support their wellbeing.

Friendships… one of the best ways to stay young. Good friends are good for your health. Friends prevent isolation and loneliness and give you a chance to offer needed companionship, too. Friends can also: Increase your sense of belonging and purpose, Boost your happiness and reduce your stress, Improve your self-confidence and self-worth, Help you cope with traumas, Encourage you to change or avoid unhealthy lifestyle habits, such as excessive drinking or lack of exercise. Here is my ask today. If you have a good friend going through menopause or perimenopause, don’t think it’s helpful to be quiet. Instead, suggest they consider hormones or other treatments. Being a good friend can mean being proactive in helping your friends get the care they need. Don’t just listen… be proactive! And thank you Robbie Kellman Baxter for being a great friend and proudly wearing your Midi Health shirt… that’s real friendship

I love this! Btw, I don’t just wear the shirt. I also encourage all of my friends experiencing symptoms of menopause to consider hormone treatments and to look for medical experts who can help. Friends support friends and we all deserve to feel our best!

💯 Fully endorse the benefits of friendships and advocate each day for women who are struggling in mid-life and refer them to Midi-Health. I'd proudly wear this tee-shirt!

I love your teeshirts, and your mission. Did you see this excellent article about friendships? https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/06/04/friendship-friends-language-communication/

Joanna, it’s incredibly surreal to see you posting this about HRT when we went to school together since about third grade (or earlier?? Fremont Hills?) Awesome to see your work in the world (and yes, I’m a huge advocate of HRT…. Changed my life completely starting several years ago)

I love this post! In all the work and busy-ness (I have a kid going to college at the end of this summer), making time to connect with my friends often slides to the bottom of my to-do list, which is NOT where my friends belong! Thanks for the reminder, and also the visual on the t-shirts...I need to get one of them! Can I order?

I wish there was a referral program. I'd definitely earn a shirt. 😆
