Alright everyone, This year, I masterminded (okay, maybe "strongly suggested") the creation of a Bridge to Brisbane team at work. But let's be honest, charity runs are more fun with a little friendly competition, right? That's why I'm on a mission to crush the fundraising leaderboard AND conquer the course on race day. Here's the real win, though: We're doing all this for an amazing cause – Small Steps 4 Hannah. This incredible foundation works tirelessly to HALT the cycle of domestic violence, creating a world where everyone feels respected, informed, confident to act, and safe. So, how can you be part of this epic feat? Simple! Make a secure donation through the link provided. Every contribution counts towards victory (both financial and physical domination) and supporting Small Steps 4 Hannah's vital mission. Let's push to achieve this goal and help me leave everyone in the dust (figuratively speaking, of course). Bonus Round: Donate and leave a message of support on my page. Trash talk from teammates is (somewhat) welcome, but donations are definitely more effective. Together, we're gonna make a massive impact on race day. Donations are secure and go directly to Small Steps 4 Hannah. Thanks a million for your support! Remember, the only thing I'm taking home is bragging rights (and some serious muscle soreness). P.S. My co-workers might be reading this, so feel free to leave some extra motivational messages for your future Bridge to Brisbane champion! #Bridgetobrisbane #TeamPossible #RunForACause #TeamBuilding #CommunityEngagement #Fundraising

When an opportunity to make a difference by helping someone in your family, friends, at work or anywhere presents itself, don’t let it slip by, as the best opportunities are rare. Mentoring or helping others benefits you as much as the person you helped. If your only definition of helping others is donating to charities, then you are missing out. The best most effective way to help people is directly, one on one, giving of yourself. Paying it forward is a way of life not just a fad. As long as you take care of yourself first, you will have time for others. #Mentoring #HelpingOthers #MakeADifference

When it comes to making multi-year, unrestricted grants based on trust, did you ever have to make up mind? Say yes to one and let another 1.5 million US charities ride? That is, in Trust-Based Philanthropy Project, what is the recommended discipline for favoring one community led nonprofit over many others, perhaps equally worthy, in making grants? Lyrics Did you ever have to make up your mind? You pick up on one and leave the other behind It's not often easy and not often kind Did you ever have to make up your mind? Did you ever have to finally decide? And say yes to one and let the other one ride There's so many changes and tears you must hide Did you ever have to finally decide?

We help charities raise more money with our fundraising platform | Over $700 million raised for non-profits in 14 countries | CEO @ Charity Extra
Donations don’t come from websites. They come from people asking people. Yes, you DO need a link and platform, but the initial commitment to give comes from people. As a charity, you NEED to put effort into your fundraisers and ambassadors. It’s the trickle-down theory. The more effort you invest in them, the more they’ll be interested in fundraising for you, and their passion will spill over to others to give. What do I mean by “investing effort?” 🎙️Send a thank you voice note. 📧 Send out a weekly email. 🎁Send a small gift. It doesn’t need to be anything major, but you do need to show your fundraisers that you value and appreciate the work they’re doing. This rings true for all kinds of charities across the board. A little appreciation goes a long way! #crowdfunding #charity #fundraising #charityextra
