The one of y'all take my charger. No, you act like you don't hear this phone ringing. I don't have time to take phone calls. It's the mayor's office will tell me how. Dickens. I'll call him back. I got a studio full of kids and I'm down to cameras. No, I will not do such a thing. Sorry, Mayor Dinkins, I had to run down the Forbes's office and answer the phone myself. Here you go. Hey man, Dickens. Sorry to be a much better I gotta be kidding that the camera. Please be kind and not the camera. That crash make believe village. My apologies, Mayor Dinkins. We had a crash in the studio and he had to go and see if it was a kid or a camera. Sounds like we're down another camera. Ah, why would the cameras out? Nobody had permission to be in the camera room. It was just stop. If you start with, it was just I don't want to hear it. This is how third camera broken this month, this month alone on behalf of the class we would like to offer you an apology issue coach. No apology on my behalf. It was you that took the camera out in the first place. Class remind our pioneer was the first rule to the make believe village pioneers ever touch the cameras until you have a good screen, you have a good script, of course hand it over. It's all up here. Perfect. Where the actors? Great. Well, let's rehearse. And. Action. I said action. We don't have script, that's my point exactly. It's not about speed, it's about excellence. Now take out your pens and papers and get to the basics. The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary. That's what the work hand There are 26 letters. If you put them in the right combination, they can take care of your family for generations. For 20 make believe bucks. Who can tell me what that means? Legacy, also known as generational wealth. How can the alphabet take care of my future? Family letters turn into intellectual properties. What are intellectual properties? Movies, TV shows, music, apps, video games are all intellectual properties that are created with 26 letters and 10 numbers. Now who can give me an example of intellectual property? Disney World. How can letters turn into Disney World? Because you write a business plan. Genius. He's right. He called me a genius. No name calling. I called her a genius. I know the difference between a compliment genius and a backstabbing genius. Mines was 100% a compliment. I gave it a 6040 favorite backstabbing genius. We just have to agree to disagree. Great way to resolve conflict guys. You both get $20 and make believe village bucks. Kids showing growth in character and how they succeed on the filmmaking battlefield are in make believe village bugs. It's our internal currency. You know how Chuck e cheese got their little gift stores? We have gift stores too, but with better prizes. Say man, what's the scope? Ohh yeah, yeah, this elevator is down for another hour. Great for albums. It's date elevator breaks down. That means you're going to have to take them crates and take them steps today. Say, man, what are you doing? Hey, Miss Ken. Man, it ain't safe walking through my neighborhood. Other day, these older guys, they surrounded me. They're trying to get me to to join their game. A game? Yeah. They always become of us. Us kids. You fear me? I mean, I used to want to be in a gang until I started coming around. Your hand me the gun, young pioneer. We'll make sure you get home safe. And you gotta be careful who you hang around. People are low vibrations man and their energy is sucked. If you hang around 9 broke people you'll be the tear. How are you so smart? Because I read. What's the last book you read? The same book I passed out to all of you. Do any of you remember this? I do. And that was a part of that book where I saw myself. Hey Charlie, if he made it out the hood, he ain't rap. He play no sports. He said no drugs, then shoot, I can't too. Wow. I just really thought about what every pioneer needs. Access, exposure and opportunity. Those are some of our core values here at Mcwillie Village. For that pioneer to see himself in and John hope Brian and and to see what he became his especial. I believe that access, exposure and opportunity to be to be some of the many takeaways from from nothing. Wow, that bioneer got it. That's what this is all about. For your information, we all read the book. We were going to surprise you, but you probably way too much. I'm here to help. I'm on your team. If you must know, our film is based on John Hope Bryant's book Financial Literacy for All. But with our twist. Let me hear what you got. We want to talk about why 70% of black people are depressed. Why? Because we have substituted money for self esteem. We live in a capitalistic society and no one taught us. Capitalism, everything he taught about. I see my family doing the total opposite. Mine too. Black America is a $1.6 trillion consumer spending so we don't own anything. Their own houses. We all stay in the apartments. My family's always playing loud music and cars we don't own. We're going to places that don't want us. We're spending money we don't have on things that don't even matter. All that come from low self esteem. It's not about how you start. But it's about how you finished the race. Watch what I tell you. The world is going to see just how excellent we are when we apply ourselves. Your families have been excelling and and killing it in the game with with no instruction manuals you guys. You guys now have the manual to a better life. They didn't educate us because they don't want us critical thinking, and they didn't want us to read books because they don't want us to figure out that they're actually using you for economic purposes. They don't want us to travel because they don't want us to know it's freedom elsewhere. What type of stories are you gonna tell to show all these great points, let the world know we've been doing so much for so little, for so long. We can do anything with nothing. You're not scared of the work? I tell The Pioneers the only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary. We have to do the work. You know, when the rules are published to the playing field is level. We control the field and everything we do. We are three generations from slavery and we built this country by hand for free. Now we're going to build the minds and give access, exposure and opportunity to underserved communities around the world. Welcome to Make Believe Village. Please be a kid and not a camera. Ohh Please be a kid and not a camera. Please be a kid and not the camera. I can't not another camera. I just I I just came. 123. No more back thinking. Time for thinking ahead. Worlds changed so very much from what have you used to be. There's so much hatred, war and poverty. Quality. Wake up. Want to teach a new way? Maybe then they'll listen to what you have to say. They're the ones who's coming up, and the world is in their hands when you teach their children to jump the very best care. Welcome. If we're just let it be. The world will get better. We gotta change it. Just you and me. Wake up all doctors. Make the old people well, they're the ones who suffer and catch all the hair. They don't have some very long before their judgment. They want to make them happy before they pass away. Wake up all the filters. Time to build a new land. I know we could do it if we are all in the head. Only thing we have to do is put it in our minds. Surely things will work out. They do it every time. The world won't got no better. If we're just let it be. The world will get better. We gotta change it, just you and me. Change. Yeah. Change, Yeah. Change. Yeah. Changing. Going along, going along. No. Yeah. The butter. Wake up. Bye. Get a little help y'all. Need a little help. Change the world. What it used to be.

One of this country's greatest issues is our education system around financial literacy. Schools don't often teach the financial basics that kids may need, so when these students graduate at 18, they're thrust into the world without a working knowledge or understanding of finances. This may have huge negative implications for society. So, what can we do about it? Tune into this unique episode to hear some ideas our guest has!

People forget to prioritize, especially if it's not right in front of their face. It's easy to think that planning for a future “what if” is not the most important place to put your money. Not having a plan, however, can tear families apart. We've seen families fly across countries and disrupt their lives and financial situations because elder family members didn't plan and are dependent on their children. Don't let this happen to your loved ones! This episode will help get you on the right track. Listen, share, and call our office to get started now.
