It's been an absolute joy for me to get to know Brad Smith, who I now call a dear friend, his wife, and family. My daughter Faith and her friends have a chromosome condition called Trisomy 18. These children are labeled as "incompatible with life" however we have been able to demonstrate at the University of Michigan that these children can live with proper care. These children are a testament to love, and they teach the world about compassion. We want to help more families experience this blessing. I have been sharing that we are working with Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan to start a Trisomy Clinic to not only help more Michigan children, but we will drive a new narrative across this nation and worldwide. Trisomy children are valuable and will live with proper care. We need YOUR help TODAY to make it happen. The overall goal is $350,000 to get our Clinic started. Just reflecting with my wife how messy life can be. On social media we tend to share only the best of ourselves. Including here on LinkedIn our “business sides.” But truth be told behind it all, if we are honest, life is much messier than we are often willing to portray or share with others. If you are struggling with anything, know you are not alone. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. But it is Jesus who gives life abundant (John 10:10). Turn to Him for rest. “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”” Matthew 11:28-30 ESV
