They got a professional skydiver to break a world record. For the brand. For the world. For him. But all I could think was, "But why?" So, I had to break it down. - Red Bull links itself to extreme sports and pushing limits. - Famous skydiver Felix performs the jump, creating buzz. - News and social media explode, giving Red Bull massive exposure. Red Bull creates share-worthy content from the jump. - Partnerships with tech and aerospace companies = innovation. - The space jump remains a memorable event years later. With a daring stunt, Red Bull stands out as a risk-taking energy drink that you love and trust. To be a brand that sticks, you've got to go to new heights... Guess Red Bull took that literally? - The jump is live-streamed, connecting millions of viewers. - Sets world records, making Red Bull the drink for winners. - The event inspires and emotionally connects with audiences. #branding #personalbranding

What a great finish to a Super Bowl game that initially kicked off at a much slower pace than we all expected. Whether you were cheering for the Chiefs, the Niners, hoping to catch some reactions from Taylor Swift or simply enjoying some halftime Usher throwbacks; many of us found the low scoring and error-filled first half less than exhilarating. As I kicked off on my work week, it got me thinking about the age-old adage, "it's not about how you start, but how you finish." This rings particularly true in the realm of business much like life and sports. Starting off slowly with mistakes can indeed feel like a setback, but it's often during these moments that the most invaluable lessons are gleaned. Each stumble presents an opportunity to refine our strategies, fine-tune our processes, and ultimately emerge stronger. Let's embrace the journey, learn from our missteps, and remember that it's not the beginning that defines us, but rather how we navigate and finish that truly matters.
