Ehlers Danlos studies addressing #PelvicOrganProlapse are pretty hard to come by. I so appreciate this one I found on the urogyn #BenjaminBrucker about page. Every person with EDS has a somewhat unique background (that's why they are called zebras). This study includes three unique cases, which is the tip of the iceberg in POP/EDS land. https://lnkd.in/gMbu6Vnz #APOPS #womenshealthempowerment #BelowtheWaist #TheBiggestSecretinWomensHealth

Helping owners understand the value of their business and how to protect it | +1-206-605-4695 Talk/Text
The Royal Family is a business and we are witnessing a business need for a clear succession/emergency plan. King Charles III out of action while dealing with his cancer treatments. Prince William has responsibilities of his own that he will need to curtail as he stands in for his Father. This is complicated by the fact that his wife Catherine is is also on the sidelines as she recovers from her own surgery. She would normally be a very capable back up for Prince William. They have children to care for and the Prince had already postponed some of his obligations to be the primary caregiver for the children. Admittedly the Royal Family has plenty of resources and help to get through this time but it is a challenge none the less. Any number of things can happen to the Business Family (Owners and Non-Owners) and it makes sense to give forethought to how to handle these disruptions in life. If it can happen to the Royal Family it can happen to you. It is better to be prepared don’t you think? #businessplanning #businessplanning #businessprotection #seattle #successionplanning #BVPP

Paul Wilson, a Jacksonville real-estate agent, recently spoke with WJXT- News4Jax to discuss his experience with painful bunions and the procedure that allowed him to return to the Wolfson Children’s Challenge, an ultramarathon that he established 15 years ago and was forced to step back from due to pain caused by a #bunion deformity. Standing on the sidelines not able to run, Paul knew he had to find a solution to his bunion pain. Since Paul underwent Lapiplasty® 3D Bunion Correction® in 2019, he hasn’t had any bunion pain or problems in his foot. “I’m just so grateful that there’s options out there to help us.” After not participating in the Wolfson Children’s Challenge for the last five years because of the pain caused by his bunions, Paul was able to return to the competition in 2022 after recovering from his Lapiplasty® Procedure and run with a group. This year, he’s planning to complete the 55-kilometer race solo! Treace Medical Concepts, Inc. is a proud sponsor of this year’s Wolfson Children’s Challenge, which is on January 27, 2024, in our own community right here in Nocatee. Participants can register for the 55K Ultra, 30K Run, and 1-Mile Fun Run, or get a team of up to 11 friends for the 55K Relay. Watch Paul talk about his bunion journey and the Wolfson Children’s Challenge: https://lnkd.in/eNgCxmei Lapiplasty® is a surgical procedure. This experience is unique and specific to this patient only. Individual results vary, there are risks, and recovery takes time. Risks include infection, pain, implant loosening and loss of correction with improper bone healing. Chief Medical Officer at Inspired Spine | Board-Certified Neurosurgeon & Internationally Recognized Expert In Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery | Reducing Surgery Damages & Changing Patients Everyday Lives For The Better
I love this light-hearted presentation of why prone lateral should be the standard of care. What I have been doing for the last 12 years ( over 1600 cases and 3400 levels) is a trans-Kambin posterior to psoas prone lateral. By all standards, it is superior to lateral or posterior approaches. We do this surgery in about 35 minutes skin to skin, 96% of the patients go home in 24hrs. We need only 2 boxes in the OR (not 7, no need for any complex retractor sets) , one set for interbody and one set for screw placement. This reduces the workload in the ORand makes the operation so much more efficient. https://lnkd.in/gPQacwdM
