Every year, our Product, Engineering and Data teams host the “Honor Hackathon” - a week-long event that brings employees from our different departments together to solve problems impacting our business in a creative and collaborative way. As part of this year’s Hackathon, Preeti Kaur, our EVP Head of Engineering & Data interviewed Honor Board Member, Marc Andreessen about the importance of innovation culture and having an entrepreneurial mindset. Preeti and Marc touched on "start up energy" for established companies, portfolio investments within a company as it relates to risky vs. safe bets, failures and setbacks, GenAI and robotics, some predictions for the in-home care industry, and we couldn't have a session with Marc and not get some great book recommendations (!). We're so grateful for leaders like these two, who can energize and inspire our team through a powerful conversation.
