Driving change for sustainability with a passion and focus, the SCMAO Leadership Series 2024: Sustainable Supply Chain started with a panel with Jonathan Ratnasamy, Kendra Frey, CSCMP, Coralyn Ahmoy, and facilitated by Sean Boileau. Very encouraging to hear about the shift to KPIs and scorecards that are actionable.  A few notes that are inspiring as you are actively working on improving your supply chain’s sustainability targets: 1 - The collective awakening means you can have conversations with suppliers, customers, and within the company that may have been impossible not too long ago. Escalating the conversation to consider end to end impacts is also become more reachable. The ecosystem conversation vs the functional conversation. 2 - Aim for progress over perfection. Consider impact and keep going. 3 - Remember the natural reaction to solve our supply chain issues is focus on changing our business and our suppliers – ensure you consider your customers and how your actions can help unlock sustainability further down the supply chain than your direct touch and control. Optimize the total ecosystem. 4 - If you can't find the supplier you need - collectively maybe you can build it such as sustainable fuel options or sustainable food choices.
