If FACEBOOK is wondering why I don't share many random posts anymore it's because maybe I have no one to make smart people jokes with because all the people in my circles got ultra competitive and started being hired by different top companies the closer we got to running for president age and now if I share nerdy things, no one even comments and I love to joke with myself but it's basically no fun sharing much of anything now. You now I'm friendly enough to talk to strangers, right- why don't nobody wanna talk to me about saving the world anymore? I thought we were friends, but you hired all my friends. PEOPLE WHO WORK AT FACEBOOK BARELY OR DON'T EVEN USE FACEBOOK- why are people this competitive? All the fun young nerds got wrapped up in other stuff. I'm just out here being honest; I'm not even moving super fast or anything and still winning- I hate being on teams with embarrassing slackers.

One thing to realize when making a difficult decision is that it's always going to be emotionally difficult. Hard decisions are hard, not because they're rationally hard, but most of the time they're emotionally hard. And this is true, even if you can convince yourself rationally that there's nothing to fear. And this happened with me when I was leaving Facebook. I had thought about this decision for three years. I had planned it. I had talked to many people. I had all the corner cases covered. It was a sound decision. But despite that, for a few months, I woke up with night sweats, with panic attacks. And the only thing that saved me was a written reminder of why I had left. Nothing else would help me at that time, not some brilliant argument or some new insight. So know that some decisions are going to be tough, even if you know they're sound. So embrace the discomfort. Dear Linkedin, I'm just wondering when you are going to clean up all this political garbage that people are spewing on your platform? Unless I am mistaken this is a platform for business people doing business and not a political pulpit for uneducated ignoramuses hiding behind their keyboards spewing lies and conjecture while stirring up even more anger and racism when the whole planet is at the brink of nuking each other already! If people want to spread this kind of c***, please go over to Facebook where Mark Zuckerberg will gladly entertain your twisted, misinformed and distorted views of reality of current world affairs! I recently signed an invention deal because of connections I made on your site but now I have to wade through cess pools of political and personal rhetoric before I can even get to doing business! It's sickens me deeply that I write this because now I am just as culpable as those who have come before me to use your platform to spread their B.S.!! Hey people, can we just get back to doing business and clean up this sad world we've all had a hand in creating?

Believe it or not, I stole this picture from Facebook. It applies at every level from the small mom and Pop to the chain to the vendors and most importantly, the solution provider.#pointofsalesystem When we scale down backwards in time to when independent dealers who owned, sold, programmed,staged, tested and installed on site with a solid foundation, as it was in their best interest to do so, because they were supporting them long-term for recurring income and of course, credit card residuals When we scale up and we’re in the present, we’re at the scale where it’s teams collaborating not individuals this picture applies in both situations.

The difference is ACCOUNTABILITY When you see someone doing what you are afraid to do, just remember, their circumstances were no easier and they had no less fear than you. They just had enough courage to bet on themselves one more time. You don't see all the failures, all the hard decisions and the grit that comes in between the Facebook highlight real... just know if you want a lot of wins, you gotta take a lot of swings. What I offer is a program that works with a simple plan to balance your hormones and lose weight. That's the easy part. The SECRET SAUCE is the accountability to get you back in the game when you would have normally thrown in the towel and quit. This is the key that creates the consistency that's keeping you from big results.

Very relatable production horror story from Anton Zaides. The lesson I learned from very similar experience (`UPDATE very_important set deleted=1; WHERE condition = rare;`, note the extra semicolon) is to always precede a statement ran on production database with 'BEGIN TRAN'. And then COMMIT or ROLLBACK based on the rows updated (and some other unit-test statements that should be part of the update block). That may create some problems caused by transaction isolation level, but it is nothing compared to the adrenaline jolt of restoring data on a live system. TL/DR: 1. Use transactions. 2. Test your changes.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, looked completely lost during the recent appearance on UFC. While this may not have been the sole reason for a loss by his teammate Alexander Volkanovski, it raises an important point. When employees don't have a clear understanding of their job function, resources can be wasted and companies can ultimately fail. It's crucial for companies to ensure that each employee has a defined role and understands their responsibilities. Without this, confusion and inefficiency can take hold. I posted this to Facebook last week and I think it bears repeating here: Gentle reminder, because there is A LOT going on in the world (including my small corner of it)... When we see ourselves as separate from each other, we are missing the connection. We remove ourselves from that person's humanity. We put ourselves at risk of minimizing that person's experience (and wisdom). By removing ourselves, we also no longer (mutually) benefit from that relationship. When we see each other as connected, and that we each have gifts to contribute, whatever they might look like, we all benefit. There is something for everyone in these relationships. What changes when we start from a place of mutual possibility? What shifts might we have to make in our own thinking and behaviour to move in this direction?

Facebook is owned by a Jew, yet people who hate those of that background are addicted to Facebook. They spend time and money on Facebook, increasing Mark Zuckerberg's net worth. Moral of the story: Be a person of value, and even your enemies will patronise you. Start solving people's problems, and people with a problem with you will solve your financial problems. Some racists avoid Black people yet can't resist Black music. Others stay clear of Chinese people but can't keep away from Chinese food. When you are a person of value, even your enemy cannot devalue you. If you are the only one who can solve your enemy's problem, your solution will have a greater resolution than his revulsion of your position. #RenosNuggets
