Biggest arbitrage opportunity for NYC real estate lenders with associates. Hire a remote associate in Oklahoma at $100/hr instead of an in-office associate at $400k total comp We’re currently working on a few FT placements in NYC and the comp for associate level CRE underwriting talent is wild. They’re consistently earning $350-$400k in total comp. My thoughts: 1) Good for them - that’s amazing for a 28 year old. 2) Companies must be getting more productivity from in-office teams 3) If you can effectively run a remote team, you can massively save on overhead
