A lot of people think, oh, isn't that nice little stuff, Duck? I bet it costs $25. No. Then what this does, and this is so this works with the child. A child, for example, can't tell. Well, that's a good example of a shot. And they show them with the shot. But younger children under 2 can't speak. And So what you have is they say, how do you feel? Now see, this shows that the child, he's in pain. And so if he does. That but if you use this one. He's happy. And so when the doctors want to say how do you feel? They don't know how to tell you. But what we found out through our research is, is that they can say how's the duck feeling today? And they'll tell them and it and it is. So it's really made a difference. And the lives of the children and the parents and this all comes off because you're because of bone marrow transplants and things of that nature at the Aflac Cancer Center. They take these off and they clean them and it the whole white duck comes off to where they could otherwise they couldn't keep them. So. So that's what kind of takes place. So how did you come up with that idea? Well, we hired a company, actually pitched us on an idea of something. Like this. And we thought it was brilliant. And from there, we broadened it and worked it out. And it has just taken off. And so any child that's diagnosed with cancer in the United States or Japan, we give one of these to if the hospitals let us know. And it's our pleasure to do it. And it's just our way of letting them know we care. You know, when I was doing my research on you, I learned more about you through the obituaries of your father and your Uncle John. You stay. Under the radar Well, you know, I got a lot of good people doing a lot of fine things and, and, and I get a lot of recognition and I'm I'm very happy and, and hope our shareholders and our employees and the general public are happy what we're doing. Well, I'm going to take you back. I found out this interesting. You know, I'm one of those people I just look for all kind of stuff. Your name has so much meaning Daniel Old Testament prophet, the name means. God answers prayers you do that well that's kind my momma was the one that named me. I can tell you she and and picked up the the names in the Bible for that. That's right. So you do answer prayers for so many people. Well, I think the better way to say it is a lot of prayers have been answered for me and in turn I've been able to pass on some things that have been fun to do Now your middle name Paul New Testament preached the gospel to the Gentiles contributed. To the growth of the Church. Look at all the contributions you have made as a philanthropist and that Aflac makes, for instance, scholarships for the people who work for you. Right, right. Why? It just seemed like the right thing to do. You can't take all the money, will you? And I think it's important to give back. But you know, there's, there's signs lines in the Bible specifically about if you take credit on earth, they won't be credited in heaven. So I believe that too, that you, you know, you do some, but some you just don't need to in my in my book anyway, everybody has to do it their own way and whatever that might be is fine. But I think we owe it to give back and. It's one of the things that my wife and I like to do best of all.
