Super Bowl ads are in! Exciting time for us marketers to see who nailed storytelling, humor, relatability and branding. Like most years we have famous characters: Clydesdales, Hollywood actors and singers and sports stars. It seems more heavily weighted among them this year. Like most years we have lots of food and Bev commercials: Reese’s, Oikos, Pringles, Oreo, Nerds, Mountain Dew, Lindt, Drumstick ice cream, Coors Light, Anheuser-Bush, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Popeyes to name a few. Services continue: DoorDash, Uber, E*trade, Microsoft, Opendoor, Paramount+ & Pluto TV, Snap, T-Mobile, TurboTax. Along with Car ads: Toyota, BMW, VW, KIA, Kawasaki. A few thoughts on them: ·      E*TRADE is classic for humor and never disappoints. ·      Clydesdales lands with heartwarming storytelling ·      Doritos always a bit different let’s see if this humor wins and lands memorability. ·      Microsoft returns to showcase the AI Copilot app. Making AI for every hungry person who wants to achieve something. ·      Kawasaki is humorous and memorable with its “Business in the front, party in the back” ad. ·      Newcomer Nerds made a charming ad. A lovable pink gummy character and curious nerds come together to land the delicious gummy nerd candies my kids crave. ·      Ken Jeung always hilarious doesn’t disappoint with his wackiness in the Popeyes ad. ·      Bic Lighters returns with Snoop, Willie and Martha. It’s a winner simply because well its them. ·      DoorDash sweepstakes is a twist and will be good learning on in the moment engagement.
