Yes, Vasco Pedro stood before us at RedBridge Lisbon last night and thought and spoke without opening his mouth, or moving an inch, a dazzling act of seeming telepathy! Call it Mind-AI Brain-Fusion or whatever you want, but this was the jaw-dropping European premiere of Halo, an Unbabel innovation that will give a voice to ALS sufferers, and hints at how non-invasive neural interfaces and AI will help pioneer new forms of thinking and communication. The night began with a symphonic conversation between Jacqueline de Montaigne, our incredible Artista in Residencia, and Vasco – an inspiring mashup of the work of the muralist and creator of Lisbon’s luminescent Language of Flowers, and Vasco’s thrilling and ongoing Lisboa-San Francisco startup journey. What moments! A Portuguesa drawing laughs when she asked Vasco, “So, do you control it (the AI) by squeezing your ass?” Members wearing their RedBridge stickers drawn by our friend Dominika Olga Skwarska, and JAX speaking eloquently of how the flowers and Latin that grace her murals are themselves codes of meaning and love. RedBridge is thriving, thanks to Alina Cristina Buteica, our Membership Director, and our growing team Sara Galis, Mónica Bagagem, Sofia Lorusso, Monyca Motta, Kate Shifman, Bisi Obateru, Patrícia Silva, Torben Rankine, Carlos Miguel Valleré P. de Oliveira, Igor Van Krieken, and fantastic founding companies: LBC, 42 Lisboa, AGPC, Unbabel, HealthtechLisboa. Special thanks to Joana Branquinho and her ORIA Real Estate Advisors (Tamea International), who sponsored this sultry night by the river Tagus featuring sardinhas, vinho and mezcal sours from Emiliano Gutiérrez’s Raiz Vertical Farms and the silky beats of Armanda Santana. We bridged San Francisco and Lisboa through talent, creativity and ideas, and I am one lucky guy to have such great co-founders – Hugo Antonelo, Filipa Pinto de Carvalho, Paulo Gaspar and Nathan Hadlock – proud to be part of our expanding international tribe here in Lisboa with members stretching all the way to California, England and Brazil. Paulo Dimas ran the demo and talked of Portugal's awesome 80M euro Responsible AI consortium. How cool to have multiple pessoas in the Palácio from our SF sister club: SHACK15! Um grande abraço a todos – see you in July…more coming!
Sounds like Vasco Pedro and Paulo Dimas pulled off another inspiring demo in Lisbon in front of a full house. Congrats on the event Jonathan Littman

wish I could be there!
Very cool! Nearly 9 score ago, we sent telegrams by moving our arm muscles, now we can send Telegrams by moving our arm muscles via AI
Great event! Great People 👏
Such a great evening! Loved the discussions and am still intrigued by how that technology exemplified on stage works. Congrats on such a well-put event. It felt great coming back to the Palace!
