I'm thrilled to share that SIP is bringing together OhmConnect, a pioneer of the virtual power plants industry that we've backed for years, with Google Nest's Renew service to create a new company: Renew Home. We've seen the enormous impact that OhmConnect has been able to make over the years, in terms of both protecting local electrical grids from blackouts and brownouts and saving customers money. With this combination, we are massively scaling up that impact by creating the country's largest virtual power plant, which we believe will play a leading role in decarbonizing the grid and accelerating the US' path to net zero emissions by 2050.
