Healthy Recipe Alert: Frozen Yogurt Treats 1 cup unsweetened plain Greek yogurt 3 tbsp of peanut butter 1 small diced banana 1 tbsp local raw honey 1/2 tsp cinnamon Whisk above ingredients until smooth. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and form round discs with the yogurt mixture on the paper. Put in the freezer for a few hours until frozen. Melt dark chocolate (I used Guittard dark chocolate baking chips 72% for this recipe) with a tsp of coconut oil. Dip the frozen yogurt discs in the melted chocolate and place back on the parchment paper. Sprinkle chopped nuts of choice on top. Place back in the freezer until the chocolate is hardened (only takes about 20 minutes or so). Let them sit out for about 10 minutes before eating so the yogurt will soften a little bit. Enjoy!! This lightly sweetened treat is so satisfying (due to the protein and fat content). You should definitely give this one a try! Let me know if you do! I made these gems again this weekend! 🍌🥣 Easy and nutritious- only using 3 simple ingredients. Last time I made them using blueberries and I think I like those even better! Enjoy! 😋👨🏼🍳 A quick recipe for plant-based banana and oat cookies: Ingredients: 2 overripe bananas 1 cup oat flakes 1/2 cup chocolate chips or blueberries (whichever you prefer) Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.Add the oat flakes to the mashed bananas and mix until well combined. Fold in the chocolate chips or blueberries into the banana-oat mixture.Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon or your fingers. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges.
