I've been feeling 'judgey' this week.... Thrilled to be asked to join the judging the Global Search Awards 2024 for another year. I've also finished marking the awards for the EU Search Awards ✅ Keep your eyes peeled for the shortlist in the coming weeks - lots of great entries. Looking forward to celebrating the winners in Prague in May I've now marked hundreds of entries over the last few years across various awards. Here's a few quick tips: 🏅 Take us on the journey, show your passion and always tie it back to the objectives 🏅 Include real evidence of the results. Anyone can write out some figures in a table 🏅Focus on all parts of the entry, not just the ones you think is strongest for you 🏅Talk like a human. We know the technical stuff, don't try sound too clever And a small thing which can make a big difference, upload as a PDF not a Word document. Your formatting won't look like it did on your screen and it can make it hard for the poor judges to read properly.
